It was after school and you saw the certain beanie wearing boy you were going to Pops with. You smiled and walked next to him.
"Ready?" You asked.
"All set." He said.
You two arrived at Pops and sat down.
"You know people are going to be whispering your name because you are a Lodge and I'm an outcast." He said.
"Do you see me caring? Plus if you haven't noticed I'm not the center of attention which is amazing." You said.
"Trust me any other year you would be but since the thing with Jason Blossom happened you aren't." Jughead said.
"Yeah I heard that's so sad I feel bad for Cheryl." You said.
"So do I but once you get to know Cheryl your feelings might change." Jughead said.
"Are you going to the semi formal?" You asked.
"Do I look like a guy that would go?" He asked.
"You should go." You said.
"Why? I much rather sit and write my novel and enjoy a chocolate shake a burger then go to a stupid formal." Jughead said.
"Come on Jughead. Go and if it's terrible you can leave." You said.
"I'll go but only if you go." Jughead said.
"I'll go but you can't cancel." You said.
"Darn and I was just going to do that." He said joking.
You laughed.
"Well here's my number." You said writing it on a Pops napkin and handing it to Jughead.
"Text me or call me the details and I have to go." You said.
"Bye F/N." He said.
"Bye Jughead." You said smiling.
You rushed home and you saw your mom there smiling.
"Welcome home mija." Mom said.
"Hola." You said and went to your room and did your homework.
"So where did you go?" Veronica asked.
"I went to Pops with a friend." You said.
"Who?" Veronica asked.
"Just this friend." You said.
"Uh huh. I'll get it out of you in time." She said with a smirk.
"Betty and I made the squad." She said happily.
You smiled and hugged her.
"That's great." You said.
"Are you going to the semi formal?" She asked.
"I am. I'm going to assume you are too?" You asked.
"I am. I'm going with Betty and Archie. You can tag along too you know." Veronica said.
"It's fine I'm going with someone else." You said.
She smirked. "This friend again?"
You nodded.
"I know you to well." She said.
You laughed and threw a pillow at her and she threw it back at you.
