It was the end of school and you and Veronica were home.
"Who knew working could be so tiring." Mom sighed.
"Mom Cheryl showed me and Roni a picture of you and a Serpent." You said.
"First off you have nothing to worry about. Sit." Mom said.
You and Veronica sat down.
"Now remember I grew up here. Southside Serpents may be from the wrong side of the tracks but I went to high school with some of them. I was just being polite." Mom said.
"Cheryl said it looked like you were arguing." Veronica said.
"Arguing? Hardly he made a comment and I put him in his place." Mom said.
"Mom if you are in trouble-" You began.
"I'm not in any trouble. Mija." Mom said.
"When have I ever lied to you?" Mom asked.
You stared into her brown eyes and sighed.
You went to your room and Veronica followed.
"I'm going to Pops want to come?" Veronica asked.
"No I'm just going to find the perfect movie outfit." You said.
"Are you sitting with Kevin and I?" Veronica asked.
"No I'm going with Jug." You said.
It was another day and Jug messaged you to meet him at Pops and so you did.
"What's wrong?" You asked.
"The drive in is really closing." Jughead said sadly.
"I'm sorry Jug." You said.
"That Drive In means a lot to me. I can't believe it's getting teared down." Jughead said.
You hugged him. "It will get better."
"Are you coming to the last night?" He asked.
"Yeah I am." You said.
"Good." He said.
