Chapter 34: Surprise Party Plan

  You were at Pops with Jughead.
"Do you think this town has order?" You asked laying your head on his shoulder.
"Order? I think Riverdale's no order is their order." Jughead said typing.
"Makes sense." You said.

You were coming home and you saw your mom and some man.
"Who is this?" You asked.
"This is your father's attorney he is here to prep you for your statement and hearing." Mom said.
You shook his hand and politely smiled.
"You just need to speak on his character." The attorney said.
"Well Dad made his bed he should lie in it." You said.
"If you don't it could be... problematic to say the least." The attorney said.
"Oh then this family will be even more apart? Maybe that's for the best. Maybe we need to start anew." You smiled.
"F/N." Your mom said.
"I have school ciao." You said and walked out.
You saw Jughead and he waved.
"Hey Jughead." You smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Hey." He said.
"Can we talk?" Jughead asked.
"Sure." You said and he led you into the blue and gold.
"So Archie overheard the Clifford Blossom talking about how he is responsible for putting your Dad in jail." Jughead said his arms crossed.
"Why would he have anything to do with my father?" You asked.
"And that's where it gets messy." Jughead said.
"I can't do this today." You sighed.
Jughead places a hand on your shoulder and pulled you into a hug.
"By the way happy birthday." You smiled.
"How did you know?" Jughead asked.
"You are more broody today." You smiled.
He laughed and the bell rang.
"See you." You said and he waved.

You were moving rather quickly and Betty ran next to you.
"You know it's Jughead's birthday today right?" Betty asked.
"Obviously." You said.
"Why don't we throw him a surprise party?" Betty asked.
"He doesn't like his birthday." You said.
"But come on." Betty pleaded.
"No." You said and moved past her.

It was lunch and you were walking to sit with everyone.
"F/N we are so throwing Jughead a low key surprise birthday party." Veronica said.
"No that's a terrible idea." You said.
"You are his girlfriend you should want him to be happy." Betty said.
"I do and I know what will make him happy Betty. You aren't his girlfriend, you don't know him the way I do." You glared.
"F/N is right Jughead hates his birthday." Archie said.
"Everyone says that." Kevin said.
"Inner circle only." Veronica said.
You rolled your eyes.
"Don't turn around." Kevin said eyes wide.
You slowly turned around and saw Chuck.
"What is he doing back?" Archie asked.
"He got suspended not expelled." You said.
Betty ran over to Chuck and slammed on the table and you looked down and saw her digging her nails into her skin.
"What was he doing?" Veronica asked.
"Apologizing." Betty said.
"Yeah right." You said.
"Can we talk about Jughead's surprise party?" Betty asked.
"There's a lot of things I can't control but I can control that my friend will have the best birthday of his entire life." Betty said.
"I'm with Betty my Dad is away we can have it at my house." Archie said.
"We can all use a good time." Archie added.
You rolled your eyes and glared.
"Loosen up." Veronica said.
You sighed. "I'm not responsible."
You got up and walked away annoyed with the whole situation. Why wouldn't they listen to you and Archie knows Jughead the best.
