"You have won this round. I have wired you the money."
"I'm not done here. Send me back!"
"But you already won, no need to_"
"Send me back, Mavi haven't died yet."
"Why do you want to go back?"
"..."
"You love him..."
"The game isn't over."
"You...very well..." The deep voice sighed helplessly. "Go..."
Several years have passed since the Nubes prince destroyed his tribe and invaded the Mare territories. Since then, the Nubes prince was chained in the darkest depth of the sea - isolated in darkness to reflect on what he had done. Even when he screams and cried for Mavi, no one could hear him. He was simply left alone to die and forgotten. That was his greatest punishment.
At the same time, since the Nubes prince's raid, Mavi Gutia had fell into a deep slumber. Maxwell Nox had managed to slip the last bracelet into Mavi's hand and stopped it from cracking. Unfortunately, the beautiful woman fell into a coma and hadn't woken since then. Every single morning, day, and night, Maxwell Nox would come see her and caress her sleeping face. Every time, he hoped for her bright eyes to open and look at him - but Mavi never stirred.
Time continues on but Mavi continues to sleep. Naturally, the Mare royal family and the entire tribe all worry for their prince - their future leader. Maxwell Nox still had a whole lifetime ahead of him. No one wanted to see him living it alone. No one could bear to see the him devote himself to an empty body. Everyone had tried to convince him to move on and find another mate.
"Brother, think of your children. They need their father. They need a complete family."
As always, Maxwell Nox could be found within his living quarters where Mavi lay in her deep slumber. Each year that pass, Maxwell Nox grew more and more attached to Mavi's side. Even though the woman couldn't move, he was afraid that an invisible force would take her from him. So he remain guarding the sleeping woman's body, while neglecting his duty as the Mare prince. Seeing the man becoming so haggard, the royal family became more concern. In the end, they continue to insist that he move on and mate with someone else.
"Papa..." The youngest child, the little Mare princess with silver hair and blue eyes went to her father side and pleaded. "Papa, mama won't wake up..."
The little princess was barely four years old and already she understood that the beautiful woman sleeping peacefully on the bed was soulless. Only an empty body. Naturally, she wants her father to be happy and well.
"Papa... we want you to be happy..."
Even the second oldest son at eight-year-old and the twin boys at six-year-old, were all trying to convince their father to move on with his life instead of looking after a soulless corpse.
"What are you all doing?"
The twelve-year old Niall stormed into the room with Zeki Gutia and Freda Lilyn behind him. From all the children, Niall had the strongest bond with his mother. From the moment when he was born to the time until Mavi went into a coma, Niall was eight-year old - an age where he already have his own views and beliefs. Most importantly, Mavi had single-handedly raised Niall - loving and teaching him as any mother would. Meanwhile, his younger brothers and sister did not have the same fortune. When Mavi fell into a coma, the little princess was only a month old, the twins was two, and her second oldest was four. Losing their mother at such a tender age while being raised by their grandparents and aunt, it was to be expected that their bond to their father's family was greater. So if their grandparents and aunt asked them to convince their father to move on and find happiness with someone else, these children wouldn't doubt their kind intentions. In their heart, their "living" father was more important and their "lifeless" mother. The only thing was - Niall would not let Mavi go.
