A lot of people would say that Thor was... well to put it easy 'Stupid'.
They thought, 'hey he's a big blonde jock he must be stupid right?'
Oh no no no he was very smart.... when he wanted to be.
So when Thor saw a young man with a bunch of electronics, brown hair, brown eyes, and a selflessness problem, you couldn't really blame him for thinking he was Tony's son.
They sound and look the same alright!?!
"You should be proud of your son," Thor says to Tony, after watching Peter finish a stimulation faster than everyone who took it.
Tony freezes looking confused.
"My what now?"
"Your son... Peter?"
"He's not... You thought he was my sON-"Tony asks shocked.
Thor awkwardly tries to defend himself as everyone starts paying attention to their conversation.
"W-well the hair, and eyes, and selflessness, and the electronics..."
Tony sighs.
"Okay, who here thought he was my son?!" Tony asks.
Everyone raises their hand.
"Rh-RHODEY!? You too?!"
"I just thought we were keeping it on the down-low." Rhodey says while shrugging.
Tony almost faints when he sees even Pepper has her hand raised.
"Pepper! We're literally married!"
"Yeah, and you have a high tendency of adopting every sad, kicked puppy looking kid you meet." Pepper counters.
"Okay, you have a point. Hey, Peter wanna be my son?" Tony asks, turning to Peter who's eyes were wide in shock, still trying to process everything.
He nods his head.
"Well, it's settled then Peter is now officially my son. Just have to do the paperwork."
Everyone got such whiplash you could probably see the markings for weeks.
Peter just stood there confused.
'What just happened?'
