🥀Birthday Boy part 2🥀

"So what you're telling me is that we need to get someone from the inside to break the stone. Which by the way we don't even have the stone. Thanos destroyed them all!" Tony says pissed.

"Listen it's either that! Or time travel! What do you wanna do!" Scott says annoyed and stressed.

"I'm trying my best here man but I need your guys's help." Scott says, with a pleading look in his eyes. Steve sighs.

"Time travel is a no-go. But do you think we could contact someone from the stone? I mean we still have the pieces of the broken stones." Natasha asks.

Everyone glances at Tony and Rhodey who seemed to be having a wordless conversation.

"It could work." Rhodey says after a few deafening minutes.

"But who can we contact that's strong enough to break through something that's already broken?" Tony asks him. They all start to think.

"Jean can." Professor Xavier says.

The others whip around, shocked to see the wheelchair bound man. And another wall man.

"Who are you?" Steve asks.

"I'm Professor Charles Xavier the owner of Xaviers school of gifted youngsters." Charles says.

"It's great to see you again Tony." Charles says, as Logan the Wolverine pushes his wheelchair towards him. Tony smiles before shaking their hands.

"It's great to see you guys too. I'm glad you guys weren't a part of the dusted." Tony says.

They nod.

"I'm-

"Steve Grant Rogers also known as Captain America. Natasha Romanoff known as Black widow. Colonel Rhodes aka War Machine. Scott lang aka ant man. Bruce banner aka Hulk. Clint Barton also known as Hawkeye. And of course Tony stark better known as Iron Man." Xavier says, interrupting Steve.

Everyone but Tony, Natasha and Logan where surprised.

"And this is Logan aka Wolverine. He's a couple hundred years old." Xavier says jokingly. Logan rolls his eyes annoyed, yet humored. 

"You said you knew someone named Jean that could break them out?"  Natasha said, bringing everyone back on topic.

"Yes but I have a feeling a big sacrifice will have to be made." Xavier says.

"I volunteer as tribute." Tony says without hesitation. Some stared shocked at how quick he was to volunteer.

"If only it was that easy." Logan says.

"Someone from the inside might have to die. Some one who the world has hurt over and over, and they never gave up. Someone pure." Xavier says. 

Tony's and Rhodey's eyes widen in horror and shock. 

"Your not suggesting!-" Rhodey shouts, getting cut off.

"Absolutely not I forbid it!" Tony says shaking his head,

"He's only 18, a kid. He-"

"Technically he and half the population is dead Tony. Believe me I would feel the same if it was Rogue, but you have to understand it's not our choice. It's Peter's." Logan says sadly.

They argue for a few more minutes before they agree on what to do.

"Then it's settled. We can go to my mansion and use Cerebro to contact Jean. And hopefully get everyone out out the stone." Xavier states.
