Finally Charlie was discharged from Chicago Med.
Back at Jay's apartment.
Charlie laying down in her bed. "Daddy can you? Can you just sit outside my door tonight, I... i just want to feel safe and make sure this isn't a dream."
"yeah sure let me just charge first, and get my things."
A few hours later Charlie woke up panicked. Jay jumped up.
"Charlie are you okay?"
Charlie just broke down crying. "I see him and them every time I close my eyes, I just, I can't sleep."
"Why don't we watch your favorite movie, I'll make popcorn and you can have whatever drink you want."
Out in the living room Jay put Jurassic Park in and Charlie laid on Jay's thigh, an hour into the movie and Charlie feel asleep.
Charlie slept through the night. Late the next morning Burgess and Roman stopped by Jay's place.
Sean asked. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"Yes I have to know if Charlie hated me."
Kim and Sean stopped by and knocked. " Jay it's Kim and Sean."
Charlie opened the front door. "Hi. Do you need dad for anything?"
"Actually I came by to see you."
"Okay. Come in."
"Charlie I have to ask, do you hate me?"
"What? Why would I hate you?"
"Because of what happened here, how I couldn't save you."
"Kim the only people I hate are the ones who raped me and Bryan, but I could never hate you, besides you tried to save me."
"Okay. I'm sorry I just had to ask."
