Trey (A week later)
“So who did JD just sign” Chris asked as we all sat around in the studio. “I don’t know. I think it was a girl” Barry said. I sat there quietly not really listening just thinking about how badly I screwed up. Lyric still hasn’t answered any of my calls, I left messages and everything. Drake walked in with JD “What’s up ya” JD said. We all said something then it went quiet again. “So I know ya want to know who just signed with me?” he asked putting the demo in. “We made this week. I want to see if ya like it”. They all gathered around as the music played…..

I stood up “Is that Lyric” I said. “Yup that’s her. I’m sorry Trey for not telling you” he said. “So she is okay. I mean how did she look?” I asked. “What you mean? Lyric always looks good” he said laughing. Everybody agreed. I replayed that song in my head once more it had to be about me. Damn I really need to talk to her….
After listening to the song again “So you haven’t talked to Lyric since that night” Drake asked me. It was only me, him, and Chris left. “Yeah and you remember what state I was in” I said “Yeah you were drunk man” “And to make it worse I don’t even remember half of it” I said putting my hands up to my head. “Try calling her again man” Chris said. “She isn’t going to answer. I know I wouldn’t” I said. “It can’t hurt to try” Drake said. I nodded then pulled out my phone and called Lyric. It rang five times until her voicemail came on “It went to voicemail” I said to them. “Leave a message tell, her you were wrong” Chris said leaving out the room with Drake. I waited for it to record.
