Lyric

After leaving Ms. April’s house I was sure of one thing and that was the feelings for Trey would always remain no matter who I was with or how many times I say I don’t love him. I called Rome on my cell as I walked to my car. “What up?” he said. “Did you just wake up?” I asked. “No um…yeah” he said. “Well get up and clean up. Trey is coming over later and I don’t want my house looking a mess” “Alright I got you sis” “Thanks Rome” I said before hanging up. I started the car drove out to the studio. When I got there I saw Drake “Hey Aubrey” I said putting my purse down on the couch. “What’s up mama” he said. “Nothing much” I said giving him a hug. I knew what he was asking he wanted to know what happened between me and Michael. “Why don’t you just ask what happened with me and Tyga, don’t be around the bush” I said to him. “Damn I didn’t want to be nosy but since you bought it up. What happened?” he asked. I plopped down on the couch beside him and curled up holding my legs to my chest. “I don’t know what happened really, I know one minute me and Trey were dancing then the next we were inches away from kissing” I said to him. He nodded his head for me to continue “It wasn’t my idea Tyga okayed it. I’m not saying its not my fault because I control me but….I don’t know Aubs” I said looking down. “Listen Mo (referring to my middle name Monet pronounced Mo-nay) you gotta decide who you want, you can’t keep on dragging my niqqas around like this” he said with a laugh. “I mean you got my niqqa Tyga so sprung he over at the mansion singing old love songs and you know he can’t sing” he said causing us to both laugh. “Then Trey well I don’t even have to say anything about him” he smiled. I smiled and nodded my head agreeing. “Hey Lyric” JD said walking in. “Hi” I said getting up from the couch. “You ready” he asked sitting down in his chair at the booth. “Yeah” I walked into the recording room.

Tyga (later on…)

I have been working in the studio all day. Me and Lyric haven’t talk since last night and I didn’t like not talking to her but I didn’t feel like I should’ve to apologize since she is the one who started this. As I left the studio I ran into Drake. “What up” I said to him. “Nothing man I just left JD’s studio, Lyric was there” he finished. “So…what ya talk about” “You” “I was about to go over there” “Well go ahead” Drake said. Wayne came into the living room as I walking out of the house. “We need to have a meeting” he said to us. “Um I need to see Lyric for a sec” I said to him. “Sure we’ll start when you come back” Wayne said. “Thanks” I said walking out of the mansion.

I parked my car and walked up to her house I didn’t need to knock since I had a key. I unlocked the door and walked inside “Lyric babe” I said looking around. I heard noise in the front room so I went in there. I see Avery and when she sees me she says “Ty” “What’s up Ree Ree” I picked her. “Avery, girl where you went” a voice said from the kitchen. I heard footsteps then tall guy walked in “Who are you?” I asked him. “The question is: how did you get in?” he asked back. I showed him the key, before I could say anything to him I heard laughs in the background then Lyric walked in with Trey. I looked at her then at him. “Michael” she said shocked. “Lyric” I said glaring at Trey. “Oh you’re Michael” the tall guy said. “What are you doing here?” she asked me. “I came to talk. Who is this? Why is he here” I said pointing to Trey. “I was just leaving” Trey said. “This is my brother, Rome” she said. “Your brother” “Yeah, Who did you think he was?” I didn’t answer. Trey cleared his throat then said “Well I should get going it was good to see you again man” he said hugging Rome. “Yeah it was good seeing you too Trey. Are we still on for basketball tomorrow?” Rome asked Trey. “Yeah” he said. “Good good” Rome said dapping him up. “Daddy” Avy said reaching out for Trey. I gave her to Trey “Yes princess” “I wanna go with you” she said. “No you need to stay here and take care of Mommy. And keep your uncle in check okay. I will see you later” he said kissing her forehead. “I love you Daddy” “I love you too Avery” he said hugging her tight. Trey putted her down on the floor “See you later Lyric” he said. “Let me walk you to the door” she said walking past me. I stood there for a minute then she came back “What’s up Tyga” she said crossing her arms in front of her chest. “Oh now I’m Tyga” I said to her. She rolled her eyes then put her hands on her hips “What do you want?” she asked. “You know what….it took a lot for me to come over here, I wanted to settle everything” I said. She glanced down at Avery then said to Rome who was sitting watching tv, “Can you take Avy upstairs its time for her nap.” “Yeah sure sis, come on Re.” Rome said swooping up Avy hanging upside down. “Aahh” Avery screamed and laughed as she was carried upstairs. Lyric looked at me then sat down I sat beside her “I’m sorry for leaving you last night, not kissing you and not saying I love you because I truly do. I love you Lyric with all my being. That’s why it hurt so much when I saw you and Trey together” I said putting everything on the table all she had to do was say she was sorry too and everything would be okay. “I’m sorry too” she said. I let her continue to talk “Listen I don’t know what happened between us but I know it won’t happen again because I love you Michael and I don’t wanna lose you ever” she said. I pulled her close to me taking in her scent, wrapping my arms around her petite body. “I love you” she whispered softly. “I love you too” I said back. I let go of her right around the time her brother walk in. “Avery is asleep” he stated. “Good thanks Rome” “No problem” he said to her. “Hey I was thinking you and Michael should get to know each other better” she said looking at the two of us. “Yeah we should” he said. I nodded my head agreeing “You can ball right” he asked me. “Yeah” I said. “Cool you can play with me and Trey tomorrow” “Sure” “Iight man I see you then” he said dapping me up then going into the kitchen. “So what are you doing today?” she asked me. “Umm” I checked my watch then said “I have a meeting right now but when I get back I could swing by-” I said before kissing her. She smiled then said through the kiss “Well you should get going I don’t want to keep you long”. “Fine” I said ending the kiss with a grin. “I love you” I said to her. “You betta” she said pecking my lips. “I love you too Michael” she intertwined our hands then walked me to the door. “I will be back in an hour or so” I said bringing her hand to my mouth and kiss each finger. “Okay” she said as I opened the door to leave. She stood in the door frame as I walked to my car “See you in a bit” she said. “Iight” I said getting into my car….I drive back to the mansion when I get there everyone is seated in the office. “Hey ya’ll” I said sitting down beside Drake. “Is everything okay with you and Lyric” Wayne asked while everybody waited for my answer. “Yeah we cool” I said with a smile. “Good” they all said. I looked at them and laughed, Wayne then stood up and said “Okay ya’ll we need to get ready for that music video we have been putting off for a while. We will be shooting it in two weeks”. Everybody said okay we talked about some interviews we would have to do and performances and that was the end of the meeting basically. Drake stopped me before I could leave to go back to Lyric’s. “Hey wait up” he had said. “Yeah what up man I was bout to head over to Lyric’s” I said putting my hands in my pockets. “I need to tell you something” he said. “Yeah what is it?” I asked him. “It’s about the video man” “What about it?” “Well I heard that somebody you know will be on it” he said. “Who?” I asked. “Victoria” he said. When he said that name my heart dropped. “Tori-I mean Victoria gonna be there” I stuttered. “Yeah man” he nodded. Victoria was just some girl I use to mess with we never were in a relationship it was just sex. She just used guys to get further in her career. Which I didn’t know at the time, I thought I was the only one but I found out she was messing with a lot of rappers and singers, celebrities in general. I haven’t seen her since I found out about her antics. I’m not going to say I didn’t have any love for her or anything cause I did but when I found out what she was all about it went away. I cleared my throat then said “It doesn’t matter I’m over her. I love Lyric.” “So you can handle her being there” he asked. “Yeah” I said. “Iight” he said. “Good lookin out bro” I said to him giving him a manly hug. “No prob man you my boy. Now go be with your girl” he said. “Iight I’m out” I said.
