"What do we do now?"

"What do we do now?"

"Do you think I would know, I didn't think we would've even had gotten this far," I sigh, still trying to adjust to the fact that Erin's handwriting matched to the notecard. Of course there was some slight difference, but they could've been easily changed with the flick of a hand. Erin could easily change them.

"What do we do about the whole date thing, then?"

"I don't know," think, think, think, "do you have an idea?"

"No; remember, I was the one who thought this wouldn't have worked." Julian said, sighing; the boy runs a hand through his hair, "Erin Jacobs. Who would've known?"

I sure as hell didn't.

From the period I knew Erin Jacobs, I knew her as the short girl from middle school; the one with thunder thighs, impossibly good clear skin, freckles against her pale skin and the brightest smile in the grade level. She was a soccer player too, and a captain at that. She was popular, really popular and incredibly sweet and kind. She was said to never have been rude to anyone in her life.

"Um," I clear my throat, "the whole date thing was a given, right? So, take Erin out on a date?" Every word I let out, my stomach crumbles into a state of twisted feelings, but all tying back to one primarily. I shake them off, reminding myself that he hasn't like me and that he'll never like me.

"What?" Julian appears shock at the suggestion as well.

"I don't know what you want to do with this newfound information; you never told me if you wanted to confront her, ask to why she's sending the note or because you want to know the girl," he doesn't like you, "maybe you should get to know her. She likes you and she's seems like a good match for you."

I know that even if Erin knows I'm Miss Incomplete, she wouldn't do that to me. She's too sweet. She's not the type of person who has a personal vendetta against someone, especially since I've treated her relatively normal and friendly. I'm not worried that Miss Incomplete's copycat—possibly Erin—would expose me. There would be no purpose. So, if he wanted to find her to find her, this is now his choice to pick: what does he want to do?
