I'm currently writing chapters a bit away from this one, and I realise this story is very dramatised. I'm so sorry if you don't enjoy stories that are too much drama, but this one has valid reasoning that I will be ending in the end—as well, I will explain any questions you guys may have by the end of the story.

Also, I love slow-burns a lot, so I'm sorry you guys have to suffer because of my enjoyment. It's sick, I know.

The first minute I stepped inside of the house, I was engulfed in a bear hug from my very grandma. She held me tightly against her skin, my height towering her and her grip forcing me to lower myself in a meaning of time. The next minute, my grandma still held on, lightly and slowly as a snail, releasing me from her hold; she also whispered into my ear that she made some udon and some additional Japanese pastries for me to have and to not tell my father.

The third minute, my father was calling up his companies' staff and telling them that he was going to be needed at home for a few days and that it was urgent that he stay. The fourth minute was when out of frustration, he told them that I was in a car accident and needed to be stayed at home and taken care of — the fifth minute, they allowed a week off pass.

The sixth, my grandma pushed me into the kitchen and took the big bowl of udon out for me to eat — freshly made out of the pot. The next, my brother tries to take a piece of my noodle but my grandma swatted his hand away and told him that she'll make him a bowl later.

The tenth minute was with me finishing the final touches of the noodle, slurping to the very end and to the eleventh minute, the doorbell rang and everyone rushes out of their seats to get the guest — not even allowing me to move a centimetre off of the table.

Except for Kenji, he held still and took a bag of chips out of his junk food section.

Now, we're here.

Graham and Iris enter through the foyer and into the kitchen, causing me to push myself off of my seat once I saw their approaching figures. Iris shot her hands up and cover the lower half of her face, racing over to engulf me into another hug. She pulls me into tucked tightly. Her short frame, like my grandma, caused me to lower myself to their level but this time, allowing me time to process and hug her back.
