"Graham, TAKE THE RIGHT TURN!"

Graham glares at me through the mirror, and I only formed a smile for him in return. I turn to Gabriel, who only shared a half-smile in my direction, not amused at my whole ideal.

"So, Gabe," Graham draws out, "where you from?"

I roll my eyes, finding the situation similar to a brother-sister relationship where the brother interrogate the boyfriend. Except in this case, Graham isn't my brother and Gabriel isn't my boyfriend. Maybe I've watched too many American teen dramas.

"Nevada." He answers in a short one-word. His eyes found the outside of Graham's BMW as he admires the scenery change between the streets. Graham drove to Dylan's house with a 'knowledge' of direction, but of course, I pulled out the map just in case. "Moved here because of my dad's employment."

"Oh," Graham acknowledge, "what branch?"

"Marines," he answers, "they said a couple years here before we have to move again. By then, I'm going to be in college."

Graham says nothing as he makes a left turn; right on cue with the map's direction in my hands. "Is this your first party?"

"No," he shakes his head, "I went to parties with my own fulbol pals. First here, though."

Graham doesn't reply and didn't attempt to make another conversation. I found that, within the car ride, Graham is quite mutual with Gabriel's presence and vice versa. I also found that Gabriel made a couple of girls to swoon over him and a couple of guy friends that he wouldn't classify as close. I don't know much except he made himself known in our school.

We arrive at Dylan's house and the presence of bright lights and loud music comes towards view. It wasn't a large mansion like they typically would describe in stories, but rather a simple two-story house with a large driveway and huge backyard. I exit out of the car first, turning to Graham as he slams the door close and waited for me to exit.

"You going to be good?" He asks, sending a look over to the house. I nod, knowing that whatever happen last time won't happen again. Plus, I wouldn't be out-of-my-mind drunk—I'm designated driver.

"You go do whatever; I'mma be with Gabe. When I see that you're too drunk, I'm driving you home."

"Home is now an hour away."

"I get to drive your car for an hour—oh so terrible," I spoke sarcastically, rolling my eyes as I earn a chuckle from Gabriel and Graham. They both turn to each other in sync, as Gabriel pockets his hands in his pants, Graham sends Gabriel a warning.

"I know I don't know you that well, but stick with her. If I'm not with her, I rather it be you then... someone I know." I roll my eyes as I pick up his tone. Gabriel chuckles and nods.

"Sounds good to me," Gabriel comes by my side and hooks an arm around my shoulders. "I'm 6'2 and Hispanic; if they think she's my girl, they won't mess with her."

"Gabe."

"That's... not a bad idea," Graham nods his head in agreement and I wanted to break the both of them now. They're getting along, how the hell is it that quick? "You do that."

"Sure will." With that said, Graham heads into the house as the door swings open and reveal a boy holding a red solo cup in his hands. I turn to Gabriel, looking up to meet his eyes.

"We're really going through with the jealous test?" I queried. After the game, Gabriel suggests that at the party, to test out the theory that Julian doesn't like me; he would help make Julian jealous at the party.
