I froze.

My heart pumping begins to beat out of my chest, my mind running completely blank as time begins to run longer and forces me to give back a response. "N-no, I'm not," I replied, shaking my head. My eyes begin to look beyond Julian, seeing the door just a few metres away.

"Yes, you are," he replied, and I felt my heart dropped. He knows, godammit he knows!

"No, I'm not," I said, trying to convince him. My voice slightly hoarse as my head continues to swing side-to-side. My feet remained intact with the ground, and my legs disobey my every command to move. My mind wasn't sending the correct signals to my body to leave, but all I could do was stay. "You got the wrong girl."

He shakes his head, confidentially; his hand coming out of his pocket as he shows a piece of paper, "do you want to know how I found out?" He walks closer, hanging the notecard to me. I look down, expecting to see some of the copycat's words that hinted towards me, when I'm greeted with my own.
