"I'm sorry,"

"It's not your fault." Graham replied as he strokes my hair. We're currently laid out on my couch, watching a Netflix movie playing on the TV screen. It was the one that Instagram memes were based from.

"I know, but like, you wanted to watch the movie—and you even bought the tickets!" It was the premiere of that Marvel movie Graham was adamant on seeing. He pre-bought the tickets, like I expected, and everything was falling into plan till today.

"You're getting cramps. I'm not forcing you to go anywhere." That's right. Francena Nakamura is getting period cramps. The worst kinds that start during the beginning of my menstrual cycle, and the worst type that makes me want to lay in bed all day. This one is probably one of my worst ones; centred in the middle of my hips and lower.

"You should've gone without—ow!" A jolt of pain shot up my body, causing me to involuntarily cringe over. Graham place the hot heating pad on my stomach. He said he founded online that its meant to help with cramps.

"Exactly."

"N-no," slightly pulling back from the pain, I regain my words. "I mean, you should've went without me. Go with another friend, get one of your soccer buddies."

"Nah, it's not as fun as it is with you guys," he explains, shrugging as the green eyes of his found their way back to the screen. "I could wait for the next time."

"But the tickets!"

"I can always get new ones," he explains, speaking so nonchalantly. "I want to be here, helping you. You can barely walk."

"I can so—ugh." Another jolt of pain shoved up, causing me to clench my jaw tightly and pull my hands into fists. I wanted to badly to grip something, most likely Graham's shirt, but I didn't want to show that I'm in so much pain—I want him to go have fun.

God, I sound like a mother.

At least I know I'll be a good mother.

Unlike some people.

"Yeah, uh-huh," Graham rolled his eyes, "I'm going to go get you some water. You need to hydrate." He lift my head up from his lap, taking the nearby pillow and placing it underneath me as he directs himself off to the familiar kitchen—where my grandma was at.

I try to focus on the screen as the pain became unbearable. The doorbell rings once my cramps lowered on the scale, and I look up to see Graham still hasn't come back. I groan, lifting myself up from the couch and begin to walk over to the front door.

I place the heating pad on my belly, walking and opening up the door to reveal a gleeful Jaycee. "I got my driver's licence!" Jaycee lunge forward, pulling me into a hug before yanking back quickly. "Ow, that's hot!" She looks down to see me holding the warmer. "What's that?"

"Heating pad—cramps." I explained in three words, as I begin to turn around and walk back over to the living room. Footsteps followed behind me, revealing that Jaycee was following.

"Damn, you okay?" She queries, taking the seat next to me. I nod.

"I'm fine!" I yell out, hoping Graham would hear and take the hint to leave. Jaycee look back at me, her expression scrunched at my loud tone. "Sorry, Graham is here to take care of me, and he's not leaving."

"You bet your ass I won't," Graham comes back into ploy with a cup of water in his hand, steam coming out of it. "Sorry it took so long, your grandma was saying something about your cramps but I couldn't understand so I pulled out Google Translate and gotten that she said to give you hot water."
