Everyone had frozen, glancing at him when oh-so-miraculously, a portal appeared in the middle of the room. Ella had run through the room, grabbing Mabel's hand, Blueberry's hand, Delaney's, then rushed into it in the semblance of a moment of peace that had opened up.
"B...Bill?" My demonic facade vanished. Two more people rushed in after the demon - Ford and Stan.
He didn't hear me. But...I knew this was my only chance. The bricks returned once more and instinctively, I snapped my fingers.
I was...back home. Ford and Stan looked stunned.
And so did I, if I were being completely honest.
I was home...
