"Look at all these cats, Sorarun!!"

"Mhm..."

Soraru and I had agreed to meet up for a date this weekend.

We didn't have any plans yet, so I begged him to visit the new cat café that opened near us.

He easily agreed, since he also very much likes cats.

But since we came here, he has been acting very cold and annoyed...

I wonder why?

"Is everything okay?", the employee asked with a smile, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yes! The cats are lovely! And the cake is delicious, too."

"That's nice to hear, I baked it."

"You did!? Can I have the recipe??"

"Haha, sure. It's nothing special though."

"It tastes amazing! Have you even tried it?"

"I didn't get the chance yet."

I took a piece of cake with my fork and held it in front of him.

"Here! You have to at least try your own cake!"

"Uh, are you sure? Your boyfriend looks as if he's about to kill me."

I looked over my shoulder, seeing Soraru look pissed, his arms crossed over.

"Just take it, I'll deal with him later."

"Well then."

He took the fork and tasted the dark brown, glazed chocolate cake.

"Mh, it really is delicious, wow!"

"See?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't give you the recipe, that's gonna be a secret special!"

"Ehhh~? But you promised..."

"I didn't promise anything!", he laughed.

I could feel dark stares on my back, slowly getting annoyed by them.

"I'm sorry, it was nice talking to you, but I have to go. The next customers are waiting.", he smiled.

"Yup! Have a great day!", I smiled back.

"Thanks, you two too!"

At the mention of 'two' I turned my attention back to Soraru.

He still looked pissed, so I just continued cuddling with the cats.

'I won't let him ruin my mood.'

Just then, a baby kitten made it's way towards me in tiny little steps.

"Oh my god, you're so cute!!"

The kitten meowed, letting my heart melt immediately.

"Gaaahhh, you're adorable!"

"Tch."

I heard Soraru's annoyed sound, but I decided to ignore it.

"Come here, little one!"

The cat approached me and I took it in my arms, cuddling it.

"Ahh, you're so cute, I wanna hug you harder, but I don't wanna hurt you...", I whined.

'I could hug Soraru as much as I wanted, though...'

I shook my head.

'This is not the time to think of him!'
