Today is my baby shower! I think. Layla told me to get all cute today because we're going to see a play, but like, this is the first time she's mentioned it. I'm so suspicious right now. Even my mom & Pattie have been kinda weird, like something's up.
I have a light pink skater dress on with white almond toed heels, and my long sleek pony.
Layla beeps her horn for me, as she's here to pick me up.
"Bye, Justin! I'll see you later! I love you!"
"Bye! Have fun! I love you too, babe!" she responds.
I leave out the front door & get into Layla's car.
"Ready for the play?" Layla asks.
"Mhm." I say with a sarcastic tone.
"What?"
"C'mon, just tell me! My baby shower is today, isn't it?"
"No, it's not."
"Then when is it? Because the baby is due in less than a month now."
"Ummmm....I don't remember the date. Ask your mom."
I just roll my eyes in response.
After a 15 minute drive, we showed up at Layla's house.
"I forgot something, wanna come in? You can get your panties that you left."
"Yeah."
Yeah, I'm going in because there's a party inside.
We walk up the steps & onto the porch. Layla unlocks the door & opens it to...
"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouts.
"Oh my god!! I knew you were planning something!" I say to Layla. I embrace her in a huge hug.
My mom & Pattie come up to me next for hugs, then someone I wasn't expecting to be here.
"Hey baby!!" Justin shouts.
"Justin?! What the hell are you doing here?!"
"I wanted to be here with you to open gifts! Fredo is here too, so I won't be the only guy, don't worry."
"You knew about this?"
"Yeah." he chuckles. "I helped plan it with our moms & Layla."
"Oh my god. I'm surprised you were able to keep it a secret, knowing you."
"I know, I like to super hint at things, but I was good about this time."
I continued greeting everyone. My girls, Alexa, Courtney, Colleen, Victoria, & Tayla, Miley, Taylor, Demi, Nicki, my aunts & cousins, Justin's aunts & cousins, Chelsey, Jazzy, Allie, Bay, & of course, Diane, Justin's Grandma & Nonna. Even Derek is here. I've missed him so much.
I am so blessed to have so many amazing friends & such an amazing family between my own & Justin's. Family is so so so important to me, and I'm so glad they can all be here.
I walked around looking at all the decor. It's all so beautiful. Layla & everyone really did an amazing job.
