I walk back to my room, and lay on my bed. I stare at the ceiling, and begin to think.

"Was fuckin Sam really that good of an idea?" I think to myself.

No. What the fuck was I thinking?

I hear my phone ring, and I pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Kaylee."

"What?" I ask confused.

"What the fuck were you thinking?" Jake asks

"What are you talking about?"

"You and Sam!"

Fuck

"How do you know about that?"

"Sam called me asking what he should do. He said he doesn't want to ruin your friendship since I guess you guys are friends again?"

"Well, we hungout once, and that was today when-"

"I don't want to hear it!" He yells, making me laugh.

"Jake, please just don't tell anyone." i plead.

"I won't. Just quit being so stupid."

"It was a one time thing, trust me."

"You've been a hoe lately. Someone had to say it."

"Well, fuck you Jake."

"Now you wanna fuck me? Damn, I was right." He jokes.

"Jake, shut the fuck up." I say, laughing.

"I just called to tell you to quit being stupid." He says.

"I don't need you to be looking out for me all the time Jake."

"Obviously you do. I better go though."

"Okay. Bye love you."

"Love you too." He says, and hangs up.

Maybe he's right. But my life is none of his business.

I walk into school, and the first thing I see is Colby hugging Kacey. I roll my eyes, and walk to my locker where Sam was waiting.

"Yes?" I say, confused.

"So last night..."

"Sam, stop. I know. It was a mistake."

"Yeah." He agrees.

"Also why the fuck did you tell Jake?"

"How'd you know?"

"Because he yelled at me for what we did." I put my hands on my hips.

"Well, I didn't tell anyone else. I promise."

"Better not." I say, and close my locker.

I see Colby walking up to us and I give him a fake smile.

"What's up guys?" He says, and puts his arm around Sam.

"Nothing much." Says Sam.

"Nice to see you two getting along for once." Colby says. Sam nods.

"Nice to see you and Kacey back together." I give him another fake smile.

"Yeah." He says, scratching the back of his head.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"No reason. It just didn't come up." I just nod.

"Well, congrats." I say, and walk away.
