"Today wasn't so bad." I confessed, picking at a French fry from the small basket we had gotten from a small stand at the park. The tables were taken up, so we walked to a spot under a tree.

The sun was already going down behind the city we had explored all day.

"I still can't believe you don't remember any of this." Zayn says with a shake of his head, dusting his hands off.

"I remember a little bit of it, like some places had triggered a memory. But nothing huge or anything."

"Do you remember the place you used to live before you moved to Florida?"

"No, Zayn. I was six. How could I?"

"Maybe a street name. I'm just curious to know how far away you were from us before you left."

"It was in Bradford somewhere." I said, shaking my head and picking up another fry to pop into my mouth.

"If you see the street, would you know?"

"Maybe."

"Well, if you ever want to see where you grew up for six years, just let me know and I'll help you find it." Zayn rested the small half empty basket down and pulled out a pack of cigarettes.

"You smoke?" I ask, my eyebrows shooting up.

"You didn't know?"

"No."

"You haven't smelt it around the house?"

"No."

"Oh. Then yeah, I smoke."

"Huh." Was all I could say.

"What?"

"Nothing, I just couldn't even imagine that you smoked." I confessed. He pulled a lighter out and lit the end, standing to his feet. "Where are you going?"

"It's rude to smoke in front of someone who doesn't." He says, putting his pack away and shoving a hand in his jacket pocket, walking away just enough for the wind to catch the smoke and drift it up and away from us.

"Then, just give me one. I wanna try-" I start to say, scrunching my face up.

"No, no, no, no, nooooo." He shook his head and pulled on his cigarette, inhaling before exhaling. "No way."

"If you're trying to be a good brother, what kind of message do you think smoking in front of me is sending me?"

"That I can and you can't."

"Don't be a dick!"

"If being a dick means keeping one of these from being in your hand, then I'll be the biggest one around."

"Fine, I didn't really want one anyway." I mean, the smoke was already coughing worthy and I honestly didn't want to try. It was partly because he was a kiss ass to me since I showed up and I wanted to finally see him ticked off and tell me 'no'.

I began picking at the fries again, sitting cross legged on the grass as the orange glow from the setting sun lights up the sky.

I decide to check my phone again, seeing that I have a missed call from Edward. I quickly pressed redial.

"Hello?" A soft voice asks from the other line. My chest tightened. It wasn't Edward, it was higher and almost a whisper. But yet, it sounded familiar. The background noise was distant but it would be loud.

"Hi, I just got a missed call-?"

"Marley, its Riley. I need your help." Edward's little brother?
