Courtney Swan was a hurricane.A girl born in a family of introverted, quiet people who loves to put herself out into the world was bound to shine. She decides at a young age that she is never going to fall in love, since the closest thing to love she has ever known was her twin sister, Isabella, who can be quite rocky at times. Instead, she loves herself, and she strives to be the very best at everything she does. She was so used to being an outcast by the time she was seventeen, that she didn't even notice how weird the family she befriends in her new town are. Everyone else does, though, and they all want to know what makes Courtney so interesting that the Cullen's have developed a liking to her. The only unusual thing that the girl notices is Jasper Hale, who always does seem to be in pain whenever he is around her. So she makes a mission to make him laugh, which was the start of something amazing, and shows Jasper that there really is a human who could be more dangerous than he is.
