"As we grow up, we realize it is less important to have less friends, and more important to have real ones."

"My fellow students, we are the future, anything is possible if you just believe."

I grabbed the piece of paper from Mike's hand, raking my eyes over the words, "This is the worst thing I have ever heard."

"Yeah that'll be our speech when we want to get booed off the stage."

"They'll have competitions to see who can throw diploma's at our heads the hardest."

"Hey!" Mike defended, throwing his hands in the air. "It's not everyday you have two people give a speech at graduation..."

"Yeah, remind me again why they let you do it?" Ben (yes, Ben!!!!) asked, his arm around Angela's shoulders.

Yes, I know, the greatest moment in history happened when Eric and Angela broke up... call me a mean person, but Jessica and I cheered when she told us, and then promptly stopped cheering to comfort her.

"Because I am awesome?" I spoke in a 'duh' kind of voice. "And because Jessica is too lame to go on stage herself."

A look of pure offense came over her face as Edward and Bella approached us. "Oh no." Bella mumbled, "what did Courtney do this time?"

"She is being so mean to me." Jessica pouted, crossing her arms like a three year old. "I challenge you!" She pointed a finger at me. "We both do a speech, and then whoever's is better wins."

"Is that even allowed?" Eric began, but I cut him across by reaching over his body to shake Jess's hand. "It's on, Jessie."

"Come at me, Courtie."

"Are you guys only doing this because you have no ideas?" Edward spoke up, grinning to himself, I answered, since whenever Edward talks, Jessica gets all blushy-and forgets how to speak.

"Yes." I began, and Jess surprised me by jumping in.

"We were gonna do a nice speech, but then we procrastinated by watching all of the Marvel Movies in chronological order... So yeah, we have bright futures." She shrugged, taking a sip of her water as I laughed.

"I have decided to throw a party!"

"Oh no..." I mumbled as Alice floated over and sat on my free side. I leaned my head on her surprisingly comfortable shoulder. Edward seemed to agree with me, and gave his 'sister' a look. "Another party, Alice?"

"A party at your place?" Angela blurted before Alice could answer. Jessica's eyes widened. "I-I've never seen your house."

She turned to me, as if I would possess the same reaction. I giggled, "Jess, I basically live there."

"You're the only one." Eric mumbled under his breath, speaking up, "I mean, no-one's seen their house but the Swan twins."

"It'll be fun." Alice defended, crossing her arms.

"That's what you said last time." Bella mumbled, and I threw a well-aimed grape at her head. No need to be a bitch, Bella.

Alice suddenly slumped in her seat, her eyes wide and glazed over. She was having one of her visions, "Hey Jess, I'm gonna write my speech about how school sucks to make it relatable."

"Dude, you would be banished from the ceremony."

Bella and I did our best to pull attention away from Alice, who shook her head, snapping herself out of her trance.

"Was it Sadie?" I whispered, leaning in closer to her. She shook her head, wincing. "No, I still can't see her."

If you were to ask me what's going on with Sadie,my answer would be something along the lines of: "Bitch, I don't fucking know." Because I don't. She just... dropped off the face of the Earth a month ago. Like, her mom says she is fine... but she isn't answering any of my calls, or texts, and her little brother, Nathan, won't talk to me either.

To say I am worried is an understatement.

I am really, fucking, worried.

"Hi dad." I grinned, tossing my bag onto the chair opposite me. Charlie lifted his head, smiling. "Hey, Court."

"What'cha doin'?" I asked, peering over his shoulder. A missing person paper, some dude named Riley Biers. From Seattle. Another reason for me to be worried about Sade. She lives in Seattle now.

"Another one?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowing together. Charlie sighed deeply, his eyes tinged with exhaustion. "Yeah. No body, just, poof! Missing."

"Even if it is something bad, you'll figure it out." I patted my dad's shoulder. He smiled weakly. "Thanks, hon."

"Hey, are you going with Bella to see your mother?"

"What? Oh!" Realization dawned on my face. I totally forgot about the tickets that Carlisle and Esme got us for our birthday last year. "Um, yeah! I-I guess so."

"Is your boyfriend going with you too?"

I laughed weakly. Charlie likes Jasper a lot more than he likes Edward, but he still isn't on his top ten Best People list. He adores Alice though, and since she is here so much, he has gotten used to her. Jasper is here a bunch too, but whenever he is, Charlie just looks really pissed because everybody loves Jasper.

"I don't think so, he's really busy with... college and stuff."

"Too busy for you?"

"Dad." I whined, rolling my eyes. "You know it's not like that."

"I would if I didn't witness him literally live here for a week when you were sick."

I chuckled. "You know Edward's a great guy too, he would take a bullet for Bella... or worse."

"Doesn't mean I have to like it." Charlie grunted, standing up. "Wanna go get ice cream or something?"

I giggled. "Of cou-" My voice cut off when something on the table caught my eye. I grabbed a piece of paper, feeling my breathing quicken. "Um, I'll meet you there."

Without waiting for an answer, I turned and sprinted out the door.

I pounded on the door to the Cullen's house, hysteria poking at my pores. Carlisle walked to the door at his stupid normal human pace, opening it. I literally shoved past him, throwing all regard for manner's out the window.

"ALICE!"

"Courtney?" Carlisle asked, approaching me cautiously. "Are, are you alright?"

I shoved the piece of paper into his arms, right as the entire Cullen family rounded the corner. I heard Carlisle mumbled something under his breath, handing the paper to Alice as Jasper ran forward to fold my trembling form in his arms. I heard Alice curse loudly, saying something I couldn't hear to the other Cullen's.

"Hey." Alice's voice was cold, something I had never head on her before. "Where the hell did you get this?"

"My dad's desk."

"Newborns." Esme mumbled, her eyes wide. Emmett and Rosalie both wore stoic expressions, but I had a feeling you didn't need to be Jasper to know that they were both internally freaking out.

"She... she might be a-" I let my voice hang in the air, grabbing the piece of paper from Alice and staring deep into it.

The face of Sadie Michael's unmistakably painted on the surface, with MISSING written above in huge red letters.
