"Kiya." Nari said on the phone.
"Nariiiiiiiiiii, i miss youuuuu." I pouted putting my face ina camera.
"I miss you too, sigh i hate it here."
"What been going on?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
"Nothing really, just awkward every time i walk in a room." She sighed.
"See, i wanted you to come stay with me but you know things happened..." i trailed off.
"What happened?"
"I brought it up ya mama and she went all awol and slapped me and allat extra stuff so we ain't talking." I shrugged.
"No wonder you haven't been over here." She said shaking her head.
"Yup, its okay though." I nodded. "Ima come getchu from school one day."
"Bettt." She dragged. "Oh and theres a dinner coming up we're supposed to be meeting some of Thomas people." She added.
"We? So im invited?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
"You family aint you?" She asked and i shrugged.
"I'll only come for you." I sighed.
"You ain't have no choice cause tuh." Nari said rolling her neck.
"Girl, dont make me change my mind." I said frowning at her.
"Where you at?" She asked.
"Outside Kamari house."
"But why you outside and not inside?" She asked.
"Im waiting for Kamari slow ass but he taking forever." I sighed rolling my eyes.
"Where yall going?" She asked. All these questions.
"Supposed to be going to the mall." I sighed.
"Im surprised y'all getting out the house y'all never leave the house."
"Okay, we just not a people person." I shrugged.
"You still inna rental car?" She asked. Li heffa know i am.
"Yeah, i was lookin at cars da other day though."
"Whatever but hollon my li yeah callin." She grinned.
"If private was a person." I chuckled shaking my head.
"Girl bye." With that she hung up. I sighed before putting my phone in the cup holder. What the fuck taking him so long. I groaned before getting out the car walking toward the front door. I knocked three times as i sat there and waited for him to open the door.
"Wassam li sis." Bean said as he let me in.
"Waddup." I said giving him a head as i walked in the front and seen Kamari chilling with Reese.
"Hey." I told Reese and replied back.
"Umm Kamari." I said looking at him like what are you waiting for.
"Waddup." He said dryly with a head nod.
"Whats wrong with you?" I asked scrunching up my face twisting my lip. He looked up at me before looking back down in his phone.
"Whats wrong with him?" I asked Reese and Bean.
"Shit, ion know." Reese shrugged. Bean just shrugged his shoulders.
"Kamari" i said going over to him standing in front of him.
"Come hea bruh." He said standing up grabbing my arm taking me to the room.
