Sick hugs (oneshot) [RenDoc]

3rd person POV:
Ren was working on his base in the mesa, when he started feeling tired. He shrugged it off at first, but soon found himself with pretty nasty headache. He decided to head in for the rest of the day.

As Ren walked into his base, he started getting a feeling. A feeling he hadn't felt in good couple years. He started just wanting physical affection....
"Oh no. not this again...." he said to himself.
For you see because Ren was a wolf hybrid, he would occasionally go into "heat". Basically just wanting to be touched nothing explicit just he wanted mega cuddles.

Back in season five Iskall learned the difficult way what happens during this time. Ren would just not leave him alone practically clinging on to Iskall.

But it seemed that on top of this he was also getting sick.... this was just a great combination for the wolf hybrid.

Ren's POV:
I realized this was gonna be a long couple of days, I didn't want to get any of the other hermits sick, but I also just wanted some hugs. I had a difficult decision to make. I could wait it out and hope that both go away after a couple days, or I could ask Doc to help.

I must have been deep in thought because all of a sudden Iskall was in-front of me waving his hand in front of my face.
"You ok Ren? I've been standing here for like five minutes." He asked when I finally looked up at him.

Next thing I know, I've already pulled him into a hug.

"Dude, you are burning up. Your getting sick you need to rest."
My ears went flat against my head, and I think I let out a small whimper...
"No. Not this again.... Ren, please tell me your not going through heat again...."
I could not tell if my face was red from being embarrassed or from being sick.
"Ima take that as a yes.... I'm calling Doc over he can deal with this. I'll go see if stress has any cold medicine."

Iskall's POV:
I messaged Doc knowing he'll see it instantly because of our eye messaging communicators.

<Iskall85> Doc..... please come to Ren's base.
<Docm77> sure thing. Is everything good?
<Iskall85> you'll see when you get here...-_-

Next I messaged Stress.
<Iskall85> hey Stress do you happen to have any cold medicine? Ren is sick....
<Stressmonster101> Sure thing! would you like me to bring it by?
<Iskall85> No your fine I'll come pick it up if that's ok
<Stressmonster101> Alrighty then.

"Ren I'll be back in a few minutes with some cold medicine, please go lay down. Doc will be here in a few minutes."

"Fine....."

Ren's POV:
I decided to do as Iskall said, knowing I wouldn't have a choice especially if he already called Doc over.

After a few minutes Doc practically Ran in to my base. And Iskall returned a few minutes later.

"Ren is everything ok?" Doc asked slightly concerned.
Before I could even answer Iskall answered for me...
"Nope. He's going through some heat.... and he's a real clingy one during it. And also he got sick at seemingly the same time. I've dealt with him going through heat before. Your turn now." Iskall sounded annoyed by it.
"What do you mean he's going through heat? And also how clingy are we talking." Doc asked slightly concerned.
"Basically his wolf hybrid part craves physical attention. And we're talking very clingy."

"I'm sorry.... this is one thing I can't control like during full moons..." I said quietly.
Doc didn't say anything, he just sat next to me and started petting the top of my head. I melted into his touch.
"Ren could you please take this medicine." Iskall said.
I obliged as I knew I was sick.
"Thank you Iskall."
"No problem. But your Doc's problem now." He laughed slightly.
"Wait what?" Doc said back to him.
And after Iskall left, I had no control anymore I just hugged Doc. And I would not let go. I didn't care.
"Oh so that's what he meant..." I heard Doc mumble.
"Ok come on Ren we're gonna go lay down, it's for your own good."
I was not releasing him from the hug.
"Dude please don't make me carry you.... I just realized how much shorter you are then me."
Instead of saying anything I grabbed his shoulders and I pushed myself up wards, and wrapped my legs around his waist.
He sighed and started walking over to my bed, He tried to put me down but I refused to let go.
So instead he just laid on the bed himself with me still on him.
"Oh Ren, what will we ever do with you." He said slightly chuckling.

Doc's POV:
I smiled at my much shorter boyfriend as he desperately clung to me.
I soon became clear to me that I had no idea how long this was gonna be lasting so I messaged Iskall.

<Docm77> sooo uhhh how long does this usually last?
<Iskall85> anywhere from 2 days to a week. It used to happen a lot back in season 5...."
<Docm77> oh.
<Iskall85> he's your boyfriend. So he's your problem now lol.
<Docm77> hey I'm not complaining.

When I noticed Ren again, I saw that he was still clinging to me but he was now asleep. So I started petting the top of his head gently, and as soon as I started doing that he smiled softly in his sleep.

Now normally Ren is slightly clingy he just loves hugs, but this was a whole other level of clingy. I would never admit it, at least not allowed, but I was actually enjoying this. He is just sooo cute when he sleeps!

I pulled the Blankets over us, and just accepted my fate. Luckily I just added some movies to my robotic eye, so while he sleeps I'll have something to do since I have no idea how long this will last.

Ok. Ok. I'm a sucker for Rendoc fluff. I haven't the slightest idea as to where this idea came from but I went with it and I'm not disappointed.

But for now, Keep swimming my little fishies!
