*Before we get into the chapter, I need to talk about something. This story has 5K reads, nearly 6K, which means that there are hundreds of people reading what I write. I feel like a have a platform, a small one, but I have one. And I'd like to use it in a way I can try to help

I'm a white woman and I know I have privilege just because of the color of my skin. Now, I don't live in the United States, I'm actually from Europe, and you probably think that this doesn't have to do anything with me, but it does. It affects all of us around the world. Racism is something black people deal with every single day in every part of this planet we call home.

George Floyd was an innocent man, a father who will never be able to see his kid grow up. He was unarmed when a police officer kneeled on his neck until he died. He took his life with several witnesses who did nothing to stop him, not even when George said he couldn't breathe.  He is just one more in an endless list of names that I can't write here, because I would need hundreds of chapters to do it. However, I can name a few

Breonna Taylor. Ahmaud Arbery. Tamir Rice. Eric Garner. Sandra Bland. Samuel Dubose. Dominique Clayton. Keara Crowder. Andre Horton. James Leatherwood. Cynthia Fields. Yolanda Thomas. And the list goes on.

I'd like to ask all of you who are reading this to go to change.org and sign the petition so we can make justice. Also, if you have any link of any petition, donation or any information that can be useful, please leave it in the comments so everyone can check it out. I've tried to gather as much information as I could but I know I'm lacking lots of facts
