~Tokoyami~ Secret Power

(Y/n)'s POV

Quirk: Hydrokinesis with a twist

  "Tokoyami!" Shoji exclaimed loudly, and I looked over to see him go flying into the ocean.
  "No!" I screamed, running to the edge of the water. As soon as the water hit my knees, I blindly transformed into my second form. I swam as fast as my fins could allow, going under the surface and finding Tokoyami. I grabbed him, swimming like a torpedo to the sand. Shoji had finished off the villains, and I sat our friend down in the sand. He wasn't breathing, making my adrenaline spike once more. Before I got the chance to do CPR, he began to cough up water. Dark Shadow came back out on instinct, calming at the sight of us.
  "Is he okay?" Shoji asked, and Dark Shadow nodded.
  "(Y/n), Shoji. What happened?" He asked, and Shoji filled him in. Fear flooded me at the realization that I was still sitting in my other form, and the boys looked at me.
  "You're a..?" Tokoyami began, but I changed back and ran off before he could finish, embarrassed that I had let my secret loose. He called..... But I didn't listen.

~Later~

A knock at my bedroom door got me out of my thoughts, reminding me of the fact that I lived with both of the guys.
  "Go away." I groaned, curling up on my bed.
  "(Y/n), please let me in. I didn't mean to hurt you in any way.......... Please (Y/n). You don't have to tell me, but I want to make sure you are okay." Tokoyami's voice said from the other side, and more emotions welled up in me. Curse his caring words.
  "Okay... You can come in." I said, and he came in. The bed dipped in front of me as Tokoyami leaned down, head now level with mine.
  "You alright?" He asked softly, cupping my cheek with a hand. Tears clouded my eyes, and I felt him sit next to me, picking me up and delicately placing me in his lap. I curled against him, feeling his calming touches.
  "Did I scare you, in that form?" I asked, looking up at him. His eyes widened, and he held me closer.
  "Of course not! It was actually...... Quite captivating." He said, and my fear practically flew from my body.
  "Really?" I asked, and he nodded.
  "Yes. Why would it not be?" He asked, and I decided on facing my insecurity.
  "Um.... When I was younger, all of my friends, or so I thought, loved playing at the pool. I would use my quirk to play, entertaining parents and kids alike. But this..... Siren, mermaid, whatever you want to call it, manifested for the first time. My parents told me that it skipped a generation, and that I had it. But it terrified my friends, and they ran away. It scared everyone away, even later in life. There was also a group of kids.... My bullies, that trapped me and put a muzzle on me, saying that my teeth were a hazard that should be ripped out. It scared everyone away, only my parents understood. I hated it so much, and I've hidden it from the world. It only happened today because of my emotions. I was only thinking about you, and getting you to safety." I said, tears beginning to slowly fall again. He held me close, whispering calming words to me. Dark Shadow came out, holding one of my hands and watching me protectively.
  "You don't have to worry about that anymore, not while I'm around. Besides, you live in a house full of insecure people. We have each other, and you know I would never push you away because of what you look like. Your form will never change how I feel about you, because I know who you truly are, and I know that you are destined for great things. Don't let your past define you, okay?" Tokoyami said, and I nodded. A spark of confidence welled in me, and I smiled.
  "You're amazing, Fumi." I said, and he smiled.
  "I should be saying that to you." He said, and I laughed. The atmosphere changed, and I pressed a kiss to his beak.
  "Thank you, for everything."
  "Your happiness is my everything, dear."

~A few minutes later~

  "What're you two doing?" Shoji asked, walking up to us. We were in our in ground pool, and I smiled at our dupli-armed friend.
  "Swimming. Care to join us?" I asked, and he nodded.
  "Why do you think I'm out here?" He said, getting in. We messed around, and I tossed water in a splashing fight. Soon enough we had tuckered ourselves out, taking a break and eating fruit I had put at the edge of the pool.
  "Fumi." I began, and he turned his head to look at me.
  "Yes, dear?" He replied, giving me his full attention at my uneasy tone.
  "Do you.... Want to see my other form?" I asked, seeing his eyes widen.
  "I-i mean..... If you're okay with doing so." He said, and I nodded. Taking a deep breath, I changed. My long black mermaid like tail came to life where my legs were, my pointy dorsal fin coming up as well. Black seeped into (fav color) on the tips, and two long, golden horns came out of my head, my canine teeth growing sharper. The ends of my hands had long nails, my hands a crimson red, melting into my normal skin color. The white of my eyes turned black, and I breathed out. Tokoyami looked at me with admiration, making my cheeks redden. Shoji saw as well, and I could tell he was smiling.
  "You're staring." I teased Tokoyami, and he sputtered.
  "Oh, sorry! It's just..... You're breathtaking." He said, and I laughed softly.
"I can only agree with Tokoyami." Shoji said, laughing as well. I hugged them both, happier than ever.
  "You guys are the best!"
