Klaus Pov

"No"

"Yes"

I looked at both of them, Mr.Roy looked pissed and Mrs. Roy was throwing glares at her husband for saying NO.

Mrs. Roy's Pov

"Prasad what's that ? " I asked my husband

"I said NO. Isn't that's why he is here. He wanted my permission and he isn't getting any. I will not hand my daughter to him." He said and left.

"Prasad" I yelled but he never turned back.

I looked at Nic sitting there with his hand on his knees and head bent down. I felt sad for the poor boy. He came all the way from US to ask for permission but my  husband is playing hard. I put my hand on his shoulder and he looks up with a smile.

I smile back at him and say "I sorry. I will take with him later dont worry." I said

"No, please don't be sorry. I understand he is very protective about his daughter and who wouldn't be. I will kill the guy who comes to my house asking for my daughters hand. Sir was very decent he didn't do anything I would surely do." He said making me laugh

"So you didnt tell Rua you were coming here." I asked him

"Nope I didnt. She thinking am in Europe for a business deal. Only if she knew." He said thinking off her.

"Did you tell your parents about this and Om?" I questioned

"Oh yes I did and they were very happy. Mom loves Rua like her own and she was eager to talk with you about the wedding. Yes I told Om and the rest of the group about it. They are pretty excited and I have already gotten my first set of warning from everyone personally." He said laughing which made me laugh too.

"That's something interesting. What were there warnings? " I aksed curiously

"Believe me you dont want to know" he said with petrified face and I laughed

"You know what stay here for the day I will cooking you something nice." I said and just then I heard the front door open and someone yelling "Aunty Anita" and I know who it is.

"In here Neel" I said and he came in looking at Nic curiously

"Neel meet Nicklaus. He is Om's friend."  I said leaving the marriage part out

"Nic meet Neel Om's and Rua's cousin." I said Nic got up from his place immediately and put his hand forward to shake with Neel.

"Nice meeting you Nic" Neel said

"Like wise" Nic said and I told them I will be in the kitchen cooking. I was happy that Neel was here because he is such a social butterfly that he can make anyone comfortable around.

Nic's POV

After Antia felt I heard Neel asking me. "So Nic what do you do back in US." He asked

"I have my own business." I said looking at him.

"Wow that great." He said as if he doesn't care.

"So Neel what do you do?" I ask him

"Hmm for starters am an artist, I travel a lot mostly to these historical places because I get my inspiration from there. Apart from this I also race which my family is not very keen off." He said

"Wow how come Om nor Rua have never mentioned about you. " I ask him

"Oh that's not surprising. As kids we all had our own group of people who we were close but all of us still used to play together. I was close with my other brother who is currently out off country documenting something I dont really reminder. Rua and Om were dead close to each other. They would never let anyone of us come between them. However, Ruth took a place in there mini club. We all talk with each other not too much." He said we were quite for a minute when he asked

"Hey tell you no gave you the tour of the house." He said

"Nope no one did" I said

"Well come on I will give you the tour."and with that said we walked around the house they were pictures of so many kids and I also saw pictures of Rua and Om. Whenever I saw Rua's photos I would smile like a cherishing cat. She was so cute as a kid they were pictures of her sitting in middle of the balloons with cake all over her face  and a cherry on the top of her nose so cute.

Neel opened the door and let me in telling this is Rua's room. The room was beautiful the walls were all light grey and there was queen size bed in the middle behind the bed there were  pictures of her, her parents, Om and her cousin. She had a bright smile on her face which instantly lit my face.

"Okay. That's it what's going on?" He said

"What do you mean? " I questioned him back.

"I graduated from psychology in Human Behavior and looking at your face I know you have feeling for Rua and if I think logically Omkara know about it too and he accepted you for her otherwise you wouldn't be here in this house standing believe me I know enough just how damn protective he is of her." He said shocking me but still continous

"But the only question is why exactly are you here? If I want I would like to put two and two together but I want to hear it from you Nicklaus." He said standing straight now.

"Well yes you are right. O know about my feeling towards Rua and he has accepted me for her. I love Rua and so does she. I am here to ask her hand in marriage but things aren't going as per the plan." I said looking at me.

"What happened?" He asks me back

"Mr. ROY said NO to the proposal."I said still looking at him.

"Well that's unfortunate." He said went around and sat on the couch that was placed at the end.

"Uncle Prasad is a thick skinned man. When he says no its pretty difficult for anyone to get him say yes Nic." He said

"What do you think i should do." I ask him

"You know what lets try with small fish." He said

"And what exactly you mean by saying that." I ask him.

"I hope you have some gym outfit with you in the bag." He aksed with a smile on his face.

"Yes I do. But why?" I ask him

"Because my dear brother-in-law you might just need it." He said with his hands on my shoulder.

I don't know if I should be happy or terrified at the moment. This guys looks like he has something planned but what I dont know I just hope he doesn't plan on pushing me under the bus.
