A/n yes it's another quidditch chapter but make it ✨violent✨ okay update it's not that violent. I also may or may not have any ideas for chapters rn cause I spent all my imagination thinking about the future chapters so feel free to give ideas. Oh and a small Sirius's birthday yeah I have fun reading

November 3rd, 1976

The Marauders minus Remus, who was still getting up, plus Marlene and Lily were taking up the whole of the common area waiting for said Remus before going down to breakfast.

As soon as Camilla, Alyssa and Madeline were finished getting ready they made their way down the stairs to get to breakfast because their classes start earlier than the 6th years today.

"Happy birthday, Black!" Camilla said as she headed out the door.

"Happy birthday, kid." Alyssa messed up his hair.

"Thank you." He chuckled.

Madeline came up behind the couch and placed her hands on each side lowering her head to his level since he was sitting. "Happy birthday." She smiled then kissed him on the cheek. Madeline then pushed herself back up off the couch and walked out.

Peter was smirking and trying not to laugh. Sirius brought his thumb to his cheek then saw James covering his mouth also trying not to burst out in laughter, so he quickly moved his hand back down.

"What was that little performance?" Lily asked looking at the boys.

"Does the Sirius Black have a crush on little Potter?" Marlene smirked.

"Yeah he does." Peter laughed.

"Wow. Never saw that one coming." Lily said sarcastically raising her eyebrows.

Later that night in the Gryffindor common room, filled by the three different friend group that ultimately creat one big group of nine, they stayed up throwing their own mini party for Sirius's 17th birthday. The other Gryffindors weren't so found about their loudness but let it slide just this once for the special occasion, Sirius black was of age.

The highlight of their night was playing dancing Queen by ABBA over and over while singing at the top of their lungs and dancing on the tables. It took some convincing by Remus's new girlfriend, Camilla, to get him to start dancing with the crew. Peter snuck away and came back with a poorly decorated cake that said Sirius! And a big 17! Underneath it.

November 28th, 1976

"So. First game of the year. Our winning streak starts today. I will not lose to Slytherin. Although it wouldn't be as bad as losing to Hufflepuff..." James trailed on, giving a speech to his team, although Madeline was to preoccupied with staring back at Regulus who was making silly faces at her. Occasionally in the corner of her eye she would catch a glimpse of one of his teammates glaring at her.

"Oh this'll be a fun game..." Madeline said to herself.

"What?" James asked.

"Hm?" She turned to look at her own team. "Oh, did I say that out loud?"

"Yeah." Lucy chuckled.

"Welp." She pressed her lips. "It will be."

Not long after the whistle blew, just like last year, Regulus and Madeline would fly over to each other to watch the game, talk, and keep an eye out for the snitch.

"I will be getting the snitch first today. We're done losing to you." He said seriously but with a smile on his face.

"Oh yeah? Don't speak too soon, you'll jinx it" she whispered the last part.
