Cassidy's POV:

January crept up and moved by quickly. The winter weather died down slightly leaving me to clutch my scarf a little less when I went out and about Hogwarts grounds.

But as Harry and I managed to keep our relationship a secret, we entirely forgot about Hermione and Ron. Once we were all together again, Hermione and Ron were so busy arguing about Krum that we didn't even get to tell them.

And somehow that led to us not telling them at all.

They didn't know about us and it was already February.

On the other hand, Cedric had given Harry his hint on the egg which I later broke down for him by simply giving him a written translation of what the egg would say.

Harry was able to figure the rest out and thanks to my help earlier about Gillyweed, knew exactly what he would need.

But on our first day back in school, we also noticed that Hagrid was not teaching and had been replaced by Professor Grubbly-Plank for the time being.

Malfoy threw another newspaper article at us about Hagrid being a Half-Giant and I was forced to remember that Hagrid had told Madame Maxime about him being a Half-Giant on the night of the Yule Ball.

It was all moving by so quickly that I never really had time to think or worry about other things. The only other thing that worried me these days was the recurring nightmares of her.

     "Cass?"

I looked away from the dying fire and turned my head to look up at him, my thoughts fading to the back of my mind. The common room was empty and it was very late.

I was laying my head on his lap while he read over an essay he wrote for McGonagall's class. But now his eyes were trained on me, a concern resonating from them.

    "Hmm?"

"I called your name like three times," Harry said.

"Oh, sorry," I replied, giving a small laugh along with the words.

Harry tilted his head, unconvinced. "Everything okay?"

    "I- Why wouldn't it be?"

Harry moved a hair away from my face. "Cass?" He prompted once more.

I pursed my lips and said, "I'm fine, it's just...I've been having these nightmares and- I don't know..."

"What happens?" He asks before clarifying, "In the dream?"
