Cassidy's POV:
It wasn't my initial intent to join the Order but once Dumbledore had offered the chance to become a member, I couldn't deny it. However, my introduction to the Order was not ideal...
"Ah, yes. Miss Winters," Dumbledore said upon my entrance. Heads turned my way from around the room where a large dining table remained in the center.
Expressions of confusion were exchanged as I walked over to Dumbledore.
"It appears we must give an introduction to our newest member."
Protests broke out across the room. Furious voices and worried glances were thrown around until Dumbledore was able to stop them.
"That's enough," He said firmly, "Miss Winters, it is time."
He gave an encouraging smile but I couldn't help shifting my stance out of the nerves running through me.
I never really planned on telling so many people about my situation. I only thought I'd be helping the Order by being an "anonymous source" for Dumbledore.
Letting out a sigh, I prepared myself for the absurdity of how my next words may be perceived.
"Hello. My name is Cassidy Winters, daughter of Sirius Black and Evanna WInters.
"On the night of Voldemort's downfall, my mother sent me into the future where I was raised in a muggle orphanage for thirteen years. I found my way back to this time but now I know the future of the next few years including the war that is brewing as we speak."
My words lingered in the air as the silence stretched on further and further. Confusion and shock were the main emotions that showed on the faces of the members but Moody, of course, remained indifferent.
"The future?" Minnie repeated.
"Oh, hello, Minnie," I gave her a shy smile. She pursed her lips and my dad stifled his laughs.
"Yes, the future," Dumbledore confirmed. "Can everyone introduce themselves to Cassidy?"
"I actually already met everyone," I said cutting in.
The room was filled with the nine people I had already met plus Snape, Minnie, Hagrid, Mr. Weasley, and the Diggory family. Cedric gave me a small wave.
"Well, even better!" Dumbledore said, a wide smile on his face. "We were discussing sending Hagrid to find and attempt to recruit Giants to our side."
"Oh," I nodded before turning to my trunk and using a small spell to open the secret compartment from within. Inside, the fourth book and Chronika lay in wait.
