Three solos, a trio, and group dance. That was it.
"Before I dismiss the moms." Miss Abby says as the moms are about to leave, "Next week, a new team member will join the team." Everyone looks at her confused, "What's with the faces? I'm not going to bring someone from outside." She looks over to me, "Melanie will be officially be joining the team next week."
Everyone claps as the girls hug me. After that, the moms are dismissed and I'm sent with them.

The next couple of days were pretty interesting, from Chloe going to a school trip and missing rehearsal, to Payton finally getting a solo, to Kelly's birthday party turning out to be a disaster, and the Drop Dead Diva audition, this week was pretty crazy, and I just sat down to watch it all.
Competition day, I really wanted to see all the solos, knowing that I'll probably will finally get one next week.

Next thing was the trio with Kenzie, Paige, and Nia. Chloe, Maddie, Payton, Brooke, and I were all backstage watching them.
"All right, judges, entry 2001, 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now'."
The music starts and Kenzie goes on stage late.

Nia fell, they weren't in sync, and I just knew that this was going to end badly with Miss Abby.
"That was something." Maddie comments.
"Hopefully Miss Abby won't be mad at them." Chloe adds, "Let's go back to the dressing room."
That's exactly what we do, we all go back to the dressing room and sit down when the trio comes in. None of them were smiling, but they weren't crying either. Everything goes silent once Miss Abby walks in and the cameras go all over her.
"How about the trio? That was a little disappointing." Miss Abby sits down, "I thought it started off a little rocky. Mackenzie, you have to learn to listen to the music."
Kenzie nods.
"The judges did not like that number." Holly defends the girls.
"Well, they didn't like that number, or they didn't like Nia falling on her butt." Miss Abby argues, "Right in front of their face, center stage."
Payton's and Brooke's solos were performed next. Right after that it was time for the group dance.

Maddie was first, Chloe was fourth, the trio was fifth, Payton was seventh, Brooke was second, and the group was first.
