The night ater the competition Klara sent me a looooooooong text explaining everything, basically saying that they were sorry and blah, blah, blah. We're 8 years old, why are they acting like that? I don't really know, but at least now I can go back to focus on the competition season. No more ridiculous drama.
Only that there's no competition this week, today is December 22, and there's an ALDC Christmas party.
I was talking with Liam, as you know, everything calmed down and they took a chill pill, not really a pill but oh well.
"And what are your plans for next year?" Liam asks as the music blasts off the speakers.
"The same ones since 2011." I say and grab a glass of fruit punch.
"Surviving another year on reality TV?" He asks and I nod, which makes him laugh.
Suddenly he starts leaning towards me.
Is he going to kiss me?
As he gets closer, I look around, thinking of what I could do. I get an idea. I take the glass of juice and throw it on his face.
"I'm so sorry." I say, "I gotta go."
I run away from him and meet up with Maddie, Kendall and Nia.
"I didn't do anything bad, just threw some fruit punch on Liam's face, hopefully it will wash off!" I say.
Nia and Kendall start laughing as Maddie looks at me confused.
"You what?" Maddie asks.
"Long story short, I didn't want to have my first kiss at 8." I tell her.
"Oh Mel." Nia says, "Have you guys seen Kenzie?"
"She was with Brooke and Emma." Kendall says.
Klara walks over to us.
"Who wants to play truth or dare?" She asks.
"Me." Maddie answers.
"Me too." I say.
"I'll go hang out with Kennedy, you guys have fun." Nia says and walks away.
"And you, K?" Maddie asks Kendall.
"Sure." Kendall says and we all follow Klara.
We enter another room where Alex, Kenzie, Brooke K, Emma, Peter, Amira, Rylee, Ryleigh, Payton and Nick were sitting on the floor.
"I'm going first." Kenzie says, "Alex, truth or dare?"
"Dare." Alex says full of confidence.
"Love how that sounds." Brooke K says as we sit down.
"I dare you to remove your socks with your teeth." Kenzie tells Alex.
"Ew, Kenz." Amira says.
"He said dare." Kenzie shrugs.
Alex does the dare, that was weird.
"Next, Payton, truth or dare?" Alex asks.
"Truth." Payton answers.
"Have you ever practiced kissing on the mirror?"
"A couple times..?"
We all burst out laughing.
"Next, Maddie, truth or dare?" Payton asks.
"Dare." Maddie answers.
"I dare you to go outside and howl like a wolf." Payton says.
"I don't want to go outside alone, who's coming with me?" Maddie asks as she stands up.
"I don't wanna miss that." I say standing up.
We both go outside, it was 6:58 pm, so it was kinda dark. I take out my phone and film as Maddie howls for 10 seconds, then we go back inside.
"Next, Melanie, truth or dare?" Maddie asks as soon as we sit down.
"Dare." I answer.
"You had to scream for everything for the rest of the game." Maddie tells me.
"FINE!" I yell and look over to Nick, "BIRTHDAY BOY, TRUTH OR DARE?!"
"Aw Melie, don't scream at Nick on his b-day." Rylee says and they all laugh.
"Dare." He answers.
"I DARE YOU TO TALK WITH AN BRITISH ACCENT FOR THE REST OF THE GAME!" I tell him.
"Of course, Miss Melanie." Nick says and looks over to Brooke K, "Miss Brooke, truth or dare?"
"Truth." Brooke answers.
"Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?" Nick asks with the accent.
"I can't help it." Brooke answers and looks at Ryleigh, "Ryleigh, truth or dare?"
"Dare." Ryleigh answers.
"Whisper for the rest of the game." Brooke tells her.
"Fine." Ryleigh whispers, "Rylee, truth or dare?"
"Truth." Rylee answers.
"What's the longest time you've ever been on the bathroom?" Ryleigh whispers, "And why?"
"The longest has been 5 hours." Rylee says and we all look at her.
"HOW?!" I ask.
"I got.... Stuck." Rylee says and we all laugh, "Kendall, truth or dare?"
"Dare." Kendall answers.
"I dare you to make out with your hand." Rylee tells Kendall.
"Just pretend that's MattyB." Maddie says and we all laugh.
"Shut up!" Kendall says hitting Maddie playfully on the arm.
Then she starts making out with her hand.
"Awkward." Payton says.
"Kendall K, I'm gonna tell Mom." Ryleigh says jokingly and we continue laughing.
Kendall finishes her making-out session.
"Okay, Pe---"
"Christmas cake now!" We hear Nia say and we all stand up.
"Aaaaaand the game's over." Emma says.
"FINALLY!" I say, "I mean, finally."
We all leave the room and go take a slice of the cake.
"Merry Christmas everyone, we'll see each other next week." Abby tells us.
"I will love to say this." Kenzie says, "See you all next year!"
Happy New Year 2015! Wow, how fast time goes by. New year, new things, and hopefully no new drama.
