Chapter 30

After having the breakfast they both spend some quality time and also played with the kids....... it was evening time and Negi Uncle was back so they decided to just go for a walk or something....... they went to the ghat and sat on the stairs holding hands.......

K: Naira......

N: hmm.....

K: ek baat puchu?? tumhe bura toh nahi lagega??

N: tum pucho na...... tumhari koi baat mujhe buri lag sakti hai kya??

K: agar tumhari family k baare me ho fir bhi??

she was numb for a few minutes as she didn't know how to react 

K: rehne do Naira..... hum kuch aur....

N:(cutting off) tum pucho kartik tumhe kya puchna hai....... 

K: nahi Naira..... mai aisa kuch nahi puchna chahta jisse tumhe hurt ho....... 

N: nahi kartik........ ye sab janne ka tumhara hak hai..... aur mai kabtak inn sab cheezo se bhagti rahungi......... mana ki ye mera darr hai but har kisi ko life me kabhi na kabhi apne fear ko face karna hi padta hai........

K: hmm..... toh kya tum......apni puri family se naraz ho ya fir sirf.....

N: sirf Mrs. Singhania se....... aur naraz nahi hu mai unse...... Nafrat karti hu..... sirf nafrat....

K: Matlab tumhe family me kisi aur se koi problem nahi hai??

N: nahi kartik... mujhe kisi se koi problem nahi hai balki I love my family and miss them a lot..... aur sabse zyada papa ko miss karti hu...... 

K: toh tumne inn 12 saalo me kabhi bhi wapas jane ka nahi socha?? kisi aur k liye nahi toh apne papa k liye hi........

N:(teary eyed) soch that kartik bohot baar soch ki apne ghar laut jau.... apne papa k pass, apni family k pass..... but unki wajah se kabhi himmat nahi kar pai....... mujhe pata tha ki agar mai wapas gayi toh vo mujhe jail bhejwa dengi........ aree jab mai ghar se gayab ho gayi thi tab maine papa ko phone karke milne bulaya tha...... uss waqt bhi unko pata nahi kaise pata chal gaya aur vo police lekar aa gayi........ aise me mai kaise  wapas chali jati.....

K:(hugging her) shh..... Naira..... shant ho jao..... sab thik ho jaega.....(he wiped the tears) I am sorry Naira maine tumhe rulaya na...... but.....

N: tum kyu sorry bol rahe ho kartik...... tumhari koi galti nahi hai tum sorry matt bolo.....

K: hmm..... lekin ab se I promise ki hum tumhare past k bare me tab tak baat nahi karenge jabtak tum khud uss bare me baat nahi karna chahogi.......

she wiped her tears and hugged him he too hugged her back and kissed her temple after few minutes they both broke the hug and smiled at each other and stood up and started roaming....... they were in the local market walking on the road when someone came and tapped Naira's shoulder they turned back and saw a foreigner

N: hey Chris...... how are you??

C: hey....... I'm good what about you??

N: I am great...... long time ha??

C: yup...... actually got a little busy..... but I came back ok..... and that too fulfill my promise which I did that time........

they were talking and laughing, hitting each other playfully....... and kartik was standing their clueless of what they are talking about, how do they know each other......... he was hell jealous and was burning in jealousy......

N: by the way Chris meet kartik and Kartik meet Chris we know each other for nearly 3 years now you know he is my........ (cut off by Chris) 

C: I'm really sorry to cut you in between but I need to go as I just realized I have an important work to do....... an yes Naira here is your gift.......

N: gift??

C: last year's gift....... I missed our special day you remember?? but as I was coming here so I thought to give you your pending gift........

K:(thinking) special day?? who is he and why is Naira so open and so much comfortable with him??

N: thank you so much Chris.....

C: mention not....... ok then I will take your leave...... bye Naira.... bye kartik.....(both Naira and Chris hugged each other lightly) 

N: bye Chris.....

seeing them hugging kartik was so jealous and angry on Naira that he just started moving leaving Naira behind......she saw him and move fast and matched his pace and started walking with him......... seeing his face Naira got to know that kartik was jealous of Chris so she decided to take revenge by teasing him as he did by talking about Aashi

N: tumhe pata hai kartik jab bhi Chris aata hai toh hum log bohot maje karte hai...... vo har saal aata hai London se Rishikesh specially mujhse milne.......

K: hmm.....(thinking) London se Rishikesh.....har saal.... itna close hai vo Naira se...... hai kaun ye Chris aur Naira ne mujhe pehle kyu nahi bataya iske baare me.......

N: tumhe pata hai vo bohot achha hai..... charming hai, handsome hai, sweet bhi hai....... tumhe pata usne mere kehne par ek baar bohot teekha wala golgappa kha liya tha aur phir vo puri sadak par bandaro ki tarah uchal raha tha....... phir maine usse ek deal kari thi ki agar use paani ki bottle chahiye toh use mujhe jab bhi vo aega mai jitne golgappe kkhana chahungi vo mujhe apni treat par khilaega....... 

K: hmm....

they kept moving and she kept praising him rising his jealousy as well as anger......suddenly she was a golgappa stall and scremed in excitement......

N: kartik..... chalo na golgappe khate hai......

K: nahi Naira mera mann nahi hai......tum kha lo.....

N: chalo na kartik please.......

K: maine kaha na naira mera mann nahi hai........

N: please..... please....please mere liye.......

K:(little shouting) tumhe ek baar me samajh me nahi aata ek baar keh diya n anhi hai mann toh nahi hai...... aur tumhar itna hi mann kar raha hai toh bula lo uss Chris ko bol do use vo khila dega tumhe vaise bhi tumhari deal hui thi uske saath......

and saying this he moved forward....... at first Naira was hurt by his sudden outburst but then she understood that he was jealous and is upset on her and the reason is her constant blabbering about Chris...... she can undestand how he was feeling as she has gone through the same feeling some days ago.......... so she decided to say sorry and apologies for her teasing so she went behind him call him but he was in no mood to listen to her.....,...
