Of all the days to be sick, it had to be today. I was looking forward to staying home and having fun by doing absolutely nothing. I guess I got my wish, but not the way I hoped.

"Eddie, it's just allergies, I swear." I say as Eddie tries to stick the thermometer into my mouth.

"You can't be sure, Y/N. Now open your-"

I cut him off by turning away and sneezing into my arm.

"Eds, the pollen is through the roof." I say. "It's just allergies."

"Okay, okay. But are you okay?"

"Yes, Eddie, my throat just hurts a little. My nose is running, but other than that, I'm okay."

"Do you want any chicken noodle soup?"

"No, but can I please have some ramon?" I ask.

"Of course, sweetheart." He says and kisses my forehead. "Do you need anything else? Extra pillows? Extra blankets? Ice cream?"

"No, Eddie. Thank you, baby." I say. "The ramon is fine."

"Okay." He says. "I hope you feel better, my love."
