"Don't you worry, Y/N, I will win you this bear if it's the last thing I do." Tom says over the loud carnival music and the hustle and bustle of the crowd.

I giggle. "Tom, you've spent over twenty bucks. It's fine, really." I say as he tosses the baseball once more to hit the tiny (and near-impossible to hit) alien figures.

"Ha! I hit it!" He cheers as he knocks one of the aliens down. The bell dings, signalling he won.

"Congratulations, sir. What prize can I get ya?" The man running the booth asks.

"The big teddy bear, please."

He hands Tom the bear and he hands it to me. "Thank you, babe."

"You're welcome, darling." He says. "He is not sleeping in bed with us."

I smile. "Aw, come on."

"I know how it'll go." I sip on my blue raspberry slushie. "He will take over and there will be no room for me."

"Hush, there will always be room for you. I'll make sure of it."

He kisses me. "I love you."

"I love you too, Tom." I say.

"Now, all we have to is think of a name for the bastard."
