- Chapter 54 - Manhattan Brothers Visit Brooklyn -
Warnings: None :)
Third Person POV

Race looks up when he hears commotion. His eyes widen and a smile lights up his face. "Manhattan brothers!" He exclaims, jumping up. "You did come!"

Boots, Ike, and Knobs laugh.

Race walks (more so skips/runs) over to them, quickly getting pulled into a hug by the three of them.

"I missed you all so much." Race whispers, holding them close.

"We missed you, too." Boots pulls away, smiling softly at Race.

"Oh yeah," Race turns to face Ike. "Your boyfriend is annoying- at least, the most annoying out of him, Dice, and Red." He tells him.

Ike nods, fully agreeing with this statement.

He loved his boyfriend, but he also knew what his boyfriend was like. Though, some could argue that Ike was more annoying than Hotshot when he tried and Ike wouldn't disagree with that.

"Okay, rude." Hotshot places his hands on his hips, snapping his fingers in a triangle in front of him.

The four Manhattan boys share looks, before laughing together.

Hotshot, Red, and Dice share a look, chuckling softly.

Race steps out of the way to let Dice hug Knobs, Hotshot kiss Ike, and Boots and Red have a silent conversation, before Red hugs Boots.

Race knew them well enough to know that their silent conversation was Red asking if today was a day where Boots didn't like touch or not.

It wasn't.

Boots was perfectly fine with most types of physical touch from his boyfriend and a few of his brothers today.

"How is Brooklyn?" Knobs asks Race.

Race shrugs, kicking pebbles. "It's different," he mutters. "I miss 'Hattan."

Ike slings his arm around Race's shoulder. "And 'Hattan misses you." He tells him.

Race smiles softly.

"Weasel even asked where you were." Boots tells Race.

Race stares at him. "I mean- I know we're chill with Weasel, but really?" He asks, a bit surprised.

Knobs nods, his eyes slightly wide. "It was literally the first day, too." He adds. "He didn't see you in line, so he asked." He tells him.

Race laughs. "Weasel misses me." He jokes.

The other three boys laugh.

"How's 'Hattan?" Race asks Ike, looking at him.

The older Guzman twin shrugs, his arm still around Race's shoulders. "It's pretty much the same." He answers. "Jack hates the fact that he now has to wake us all up since you can't and Albert misses his bunk buddy." Ike explains.

A smirk tugs on Race's lips.

"He only admits it to Jack and Finch, but we all have heard it." Knobs informs Race. "And then there's the occasional night where he sleeps in your bunk." He adds.
