Third Person POV

Spot woke up to grunting in his room. He quickly sat up, looking around.

Did someone break in?

Spot grabbed his pimp-cane from next to his bunk. No way was someone going to hurt him. He'd make sure they'd pay.

But then he heard something else.

Crying.

Wait, Spot thought to himself, pausing. Intruders don't cry.

Spot put down the pimp-cane, quickly getting up.

Bandit leaned against the wall, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Spot-"

Spot quickly grabbed Bandit and pulled him into his arms.

Bandit all but collapsed against him.

"Bandit, what are you doing?" Spot whispered, resting his chin on Bandit's head. "You know you're not supposed to be walking when you're injured."

"I- I had to make sure you weren't mad at me," Bandit whispered, closing his eyes.

Spot sighed, looking down at him. "Bandit, at no point did I think you betrayed Brooklyn," he assured him quietly. "You've been through hell and back with Brooklyn, with me."

Bandit let out a sob. "Really?" he whispered, looking up at Spot.

Spot frowned at the tears in his eyes. "I never doubted you or gave up on you for a moment," he promised him.

Tears streamed down Bandit's cheeks as he hugged Spot.

Bandit had been like a little brother to Spot for years. He was about two and a half years younger than Spot, a little over six months younger than Race and Smokes.

Spot knew Bandit had a hard time trusting people, which he suspected was why Bandit stayed away from Race when he came to Brooklyn.

Bandit only really talked to Tinker, Shadows, Ace, and Spot, and sometimes Rags, Hotshot, and Smokes.

Bandit gasped, suddenly remembering something. "Oh my god, Spot-"

Spot's eyebrows furrowed. "What?"

"Sling!" Bandit pulled back, wincing in pain. "It's Sling! Sling betray-"

"Bandit," Spot stopped him. He took a deep breath. "I already know."

Bandit paused. "What?"

"Specs and Rags figured it out," Spot explained.

Bandit frowned. "Have you gotten him?" he asked quietly.

Spot shook his head. "He ran." He sighed.

Bandit's frown deepened. Tears stung his eyes. "He was with Impulse..." he mumbled.
