- Stage (who keeps listening to one specific part of 'OK Overture' by AJR because she loves it. It's like my thing with one part of 'Alexander Hamilton' from Hamilton lol.)
"Raceeeeee!!!" Knobs yells from downstairs, where he stood by the open Lodge door.
Annoyed, Race groans. "What?!" He shouts back.
"You have a visitor!" Knobs shouts, before smiling over at the Newsie there.
Race grumbles as he gets up. "Alright!" He shouts. "I'm coming!"
Knobs smiles again at the Newsie on the doorstep. "He'll be down in two seconds." He informs them.
The Newsie nods.
Knobs walks away.
Race stops when he sees who was at the door, standing on the stairs. "Smokes?" He asks, confused. "Why are you here?"
"I forgot an English word." Smokes explains sheepishly.
Race sighs deeply. "And you came to Manhattan to ask?" He questions.
Smokes nods.
"Where's Spade?" Race asks, slightly exasperated.
"Busy." Smokes answers.
Race sighs again, rubbing the temples of his forehead. Why in the World Newspaper- "Alright. What did you forget?" He asks.
"Come si dice abbraccio in inglese?" Smokes asks, sounding slightly shy.
Race blinks, staring at Smokes. "You forgot the word 'hug'?!" He exclaims.
Race heard muffled giggles from the boys at the table next to them. (Buttons, JoJo, Elmer, and Tommy boy, who could all speak a language.)
Realization dawned on Smokes. "Hug! That's the word!" He exclaims, grinning.
Race facepalms. "Smokes..." he mutters.
"Thanks, Racer." Smokes beams at him. "Now I'm going to go hug my boyfriend." He informs him, leaving the Lodge.
Race watches him go, before shutting the door behind him and leaning against it. He sighs again. Who forgets the word hug? He thinks to himself.
JoJo looks over at Buttons. "Smokes olvidó la palabra 'abrazo'." He giggles.
(Translation: 'Smokes forgot the word 'hug'.')
Buttons giggles. He looks over at Elmer and Tommy boy. "Zapomninał słowa 'przytul'." He translates.
('He forgot the word 'hug'.')
Elmer and Tommy boy giggle.
"B," JoJo starts. "Tienes un siete?" He asks.
('Do you have a seven?')
