Meet a new character, Eclise Marrionette.)

I keep on walking all the way to the town, ignoring the flamingo-haired boy who currently stalking me.

But a frown slowly form as I'm taking up the surroundings and the path.

Is this still part of the kingdom of Eliora?

I said completely in broken English.

My eyes slowly fluttered open and the ceiling welcomed my vision.

I was in daze.

I quickly blotted, sitting up I stare at the place.

A house made of pure wood and a straw as a roof.

"You're awake."

A voice broke out my reverie. I quickly turn to the person.

"Stay in the bed. You're not well yet."

"How...l-long?"

"You had a fever for three days now. Glad, you're finally awake."

"W-who… Change… clothes?"

He glance at me and smiled teasingly.

He is good looking even as a child, I admit. Quite charming too, smiling like that.

He will break a lot of woman's hearts in the near future.

I close my eyes and telling myself, it is a kid only so that I won't have a single drop of nosebleed.

"Why you asked?"

"If… it's… you… Kill."

His mouth curve up a hidden grin until…

"Pft. Hahaha… You…

I quickly grasped my flamberge sword that enable his eyes to widen before he finally stop laughing.

"It's the old lady next door. She also cleaned your body as well as you are completely soak with monster's stinky blood."

He nods before urging me to sit on the chair, facing a small table. I only comply without another word as I stare at him, serving the food.

"Let's eat."

I slowly eat but I can't help it…

Taste normal and good.

I'm certain it didn't contain any poison as well.

Tell me, how can someone took care of an unknown person with fever but try to kill them the next day?

Pft. It doesn't make sense at all.

Without much thought, I didn't notice I am eating quickly like a person who will be sentence to death the next day.

I look at his plate which is still very full.

With that, I eat his portion of meal as well.

No, not eat. More like devouring.

"Its obvious you haven't eaten a normal food for a long time. Tell me everything about the forest."

I continued eating as I can feel his gaze to the peirced dagger in the table.

I heave a deep sigh as I take a bath to the near river.

"Ah. You're from Eliora Kingdom. That's very far from this kingdom. You'll need to pass 5 more kingdoms before you'll arrive to the Kingdom of Eliora."

My eyes widen a bit.

"T-that far?!"

"Yes. Actually, we can go together. I had something to do in the Kingdom of Norin. 2 kingdoms before your homeland."

"... I… understand."

He grin before walking pass me.

"Let's go."

I followed him but before we passed the kingdoms boundary…
