"You shouldn't have come back in here."

"Eclise."

My eyes move downward and caught a sight of a knife he was holding.

"I should kill you right for being a witness? You know...

Not to leave an evidence."

I step back as he step forward. I quickly turn my body to leave but he was fast enough to caught my arms and yank me, pressing the knife in my throat.

"Die, you witch."

I felt the seething pain as the knife cut in my throat.

🌺🌺🌺

I quickly bolted awake, chest heaving up and down.

A dream. A very wicked dream.

"You're up."

I hastilly turn my head towards the familiar voice.

Oh come on dude! Giving me that kind of nightmare but only to woke up with the person who killed me in my dream.

F*cking wicked!

I froze as I made sense with my surroundings. We are near the lake, stars shining brightly in the sky and fireflies fluttering all over the place.

"This is beautiful."

I can't help but say.

"Yes. It is."

I slowly turn my head to him and stop.

Eclise. He looks solemn and in peace.

Is revenge really matter that much?

"I carried you away from that mess.

Don't worry though, the Civilians start a rebellion towards the monarchy with the lead of the prince. The son of King Guwen's brother who died in a war he was being sent into.

He will take over the position. I met him once when I came back in here, and I can say that he was worthy to be a new king."

"Are you okay?"

I watch as his body turn rigged for a moment.

"I waited for you to wake up, for me to say goodbye."

Our eyes came in contact.

"I can no longer be with you."

I watch him stood up.

"From now on, let's go to our separate path."

He quickly turn his back.

"Pft. Huh!"

I snorted with a laugh and I notice he halt to a stop.

"You're acting like a coward, Eclise."

I stood up and walk on his way. I stop just in front of him. Our bodies reflected in the water.

"You're ashamed of yourself and afraid I will reject you even as a person just because you're an assassin."

"Why? Is it not?"

He looked back at me with a harsh glint in his eyes.

I chuckled just before I raise my head and stare directly in his eyes.
