Waking up this morning really made me feel more depressed if anything.Today was my birthday, and truthfully I usually liked birthdays, it was fun, always had some fire fuckin' sex, and I was the center of attention.
But this year, I don't know it felt different, It just seemed like a reminder that I was in the exact same spot I was last year around this time. Maybe even worse to be honest.
I really aint wanna do shit today, I was feeling mad down about everything that was happening lately, life was hitting me hard and I aint have no more fight left, at least not for today.
I look down at my chest, finally acknowledging the emptiness that was where August would usually be.
Just as I was about to call him, He walked in the room, carrying a large plate of breakfast food.
A smile instantly crept on my face as I spotted him.
"happy birthday pa'." he smiled, walking towards the bed with the food and leaning in to place a kiss on my lips.
Of course I kissed him back, right before feeling him place the food in my lap.
"breakfast in bed, got me feelin' like a King shorty." I chuckled.
he rolled him eyes and slipped in the bed beside me as I ate.
"Ion' deserve this." I sighed, picking up a piece of bacon, "Ion deserve you." I added.
"you don't, but Im still here, cause I'm a dumbass." he responded.
"damn." I mumbled.
"Jayce I already told you, if I didn't want to be here I wouldn't, stop feeling bad for yourself."
"I love you." He spoke, placing a kiss on my neck.
"I love you too." I responded.
"we have plans today, so don't go anywhere." he smiled.
my eyes widened in surprise, "you actually made plans for me, I was feeling Like a bad ass kid before Christmas." I told him.
"don't remind me, I might cancel them." he rolled his eyes.
"well what is it?" I asked.
"now you know Im not telling you shit." he chuckled, "its a surprise."
