"OG I came as soon as I could, traffic a bitch right now though," I explained as I panted rapidly, looking over at Aug who nodded to confirm my statement.

"Don't worry about it, long as you got here." He responded.

"Aight so what Is it, why you fly out heh' again and have me rush over?" I questioned.

He looked around for a moment then motioned for me and August to lean in closer.

"listen, right now, in my office is the President of Aqua Beats record label." He spoke lowly.

My eyes got really wide and I waited for him to speak again.

"Now listen, it's only been two days since your mixtape dropped. Now I've been telling you that you've been growing in popularity and your streams are getting higher every day—but even I didn't expect this so early." He told me.

"shit," I mumbled, in shock.

"what do I do, ion even know how to negotiate yet—I don't have a lawyer, a team. I'm just now startin' to have a lil money come in." I added.

"I know—I know, so listen. Today I'll act as your manager—"

"Deadass!?" I questioned louder than I meant to.

"Nigga." OG mumbled, yanking my ear which caused Aug to snort as he contained his laugh.

"keep your voice down, I'm trying to prepare you before you walk in there." OG explained.

"when we do get in, let me do the talking, I'll negotiate your deal but they will want to know your input. It's important you listen closely, and if you have questions ASK them." He told me.

"if we can come to an agreement today, you don't want it to be one where you accidentally sign your life away."

"Aight." I nodded, digesting his words.

"Aight now we're about to walk in, remember what I told you, sure I can give you my advice but at the end of the day—it's your decision."

With that he led both me and August inside.

What we were met with was a older looking white man that sat in a chair at OG's desk, leg crossed comfortably.

"Sorry about that Mr.Wilkins, my client had an emergency to attend to." Collins spoke, extending his hand for the white man to shake.

"No problem at all Collins, I know how things get. But he's your client? I've never known you to represent someone." The man spoke as he shook OG's hand.

"yeah this is a first for me too man, I discovered this young artist though so I feel a bit responsible." Producer Collins responded.

"Mr.Carter," the man spoke, looking over at me and extending his hand, "I must tell you, my colleagues and I are very impressed with your work so far. I mean it's not often someone like you has such a marketable image." He explained.
