"Aight" Jayce spoke, from the bedroom causing both me and quan to look up from our phones.
We'd been waiting for him to put on the outfit I'd planned out for him for a couple minutes before heading to the club.
Both of us were already dressed, I looked good, but again, I kinda had a knack for fashion.
And since quan didn't have any clothes with him, I let him borrow some of mine since we were closer in size than he and Jayce were.
Long story short—I'd basically styled us all, and did a pretty great fucking job if I do say so myself.
"how I look?" My boyfriend asked a he came into view.
My eyes widened and I couldn't help but lick my lips at the sight, "too good." I replied
He smirked at both my expression and words before looking over at quan who shot him a thumbs up, "You should let lil homie style you more, he gets it."
I smiled at his words and stood up, "okay let's take some pictures before we go, and don't complain because I'm the only reason either of you even look presentable." I said mater-of-factly.
They both smacked their lips and mumbled under their breath, but of course did what I asked and took the pictures.
It wasn't hard to notice that Ty'Quan still seemed very down from earlier, he was more quiet than usual, and didn't smile at all until he had to force one for the picture.
I felt bad for him but I knew I shouldn't keep prying about the situation, we could talk another time when he felt a bit better.
"Aight baby we really gotta go, Dev' said people are actually startin' to ask about me." Jayce spoke.
"Okay, okay, lets go." I gave in, heading for the door.
Moment we started driving, the silence was fucking deafening. Like I said, Quan was still kinda down, but Jayce was also quiet—and he wasn't even high for once so it wasn't that.
"what's wrong?" I finally asked, looking over at him once I came to a stop at the red light.
He met my eyes for the eye contact then spoke, "a lil nervous." He said simply.
I scrunched my eyebrows up then spoke, "why, this is your dream, you have nothin' to be nervous about." I reassured.
"I know, but Dev' said apparently people want to see me actually perform the song, like you said its just too much too fast.Yesterday I was basically a nobody, now niggas care about my music, I'm tweakin' out." He explained.
"isn't this what you've been working for though?" I questioned, " You really have nothin' to worry about, you'll kill it." I told him seriously.
Again there was a brief pause before he leaned up to kiss me, "long as you my number one fan you right, Ion' got nun' to worry about."
