Chapter 15

I  checked the clock and it was already 10 pm. I sighed and turned off the T.V. 

Time to get ready for bed, I guess. 

I walked up the stairs and did my night routine. By the time I was done it was already 10:45 pm. 

Jeez, my routine takes so long. 

I leaned over and studied my reflection in the mirror. 

At least I have nice skin and hair though.

I walked over to my bed and went on my phone. I know going on your phone is bad before bed, but I don't really care. 

I was scrolling through all the posts and videos when suddenly I received a call. 

Minho? Why is he calling me right now? That's so random.

I slowly answered it, hesitative. 

"...Hello?" I answered.

"Hey! It's Minho! I met you earlier after school when you were walking home," he said.

Yeah, as if I needed a reminder on who you were. Not much happens in my boring life, so moments like that really stand out.

"Oh hi Minho! Why are you calling?"

Seriously though, why is he calling me? Isn't it rude to call people this late at night? Eh, whatever, I was awake anyways, I'll brush it off. 

"I just wanted to talk to you more," he said. 

Wanted... to talk to me more? That's weird. I never get calls like these. What do I even say? 

It was quiet for a bit longer.

OH JEEZ, C'MON YUMI THINK OF SOMETHING TO SAY! 

"Um, so what classes do you have?" I asked after a while. 

"Oh, I have english and-."

He was cut off by the sound of my phone ringing. 

Who the-

Oh it's Hyunjin. 

Ah jeez, should I answer or keep talking to Minho?

Ummmm... 

"Hey, Minho someone is calling me right now. Can I call you back another time?" 

There was a pause for a moment. 

"Yeah sure, fine," he said and hung up. 

What the-. That was kind of rude. 

I answered Hyunjin's call and tried to forget about Minho's slight rudeness.

"Hi Hyunjin. Why are you calling me?" 

"I was just checking to see if you got home," he said.

"I'm not a child Hyunjin, I'm fine on my own," I responded laughing.

He doesn't need to check up on me, what an idiot.

"Okay, don't laugh at me. I'm just being nice." 

Uh ohhhh, I upset the baby. 

"Aww don't be sulky haha. Anyways, why did you even have detention today?"

He laughed before responding. 

"During lunch I drew a penis on Mr. Hon's whiteboard in permanent marker. He was not happy."

"HAHA! You should've recorded his reaction!" 

"Yeah, sorry I completely forgot to," he said.

Suddenly I heard yelling in the background.
