Chapter 48|Solo Debut

Chaeyeon's pov.....

After eating i went to do final fitting and we decided to use safety pins on my pants since i failed to gain weight which was a pity on my side, I went home to save my energy for tomorrow.

I decided to wear my rings on stage since i wore them on my music video too, my manager came and fetch me at 3am and we went to YG to do final rehearsals and we went to KBS at 5am.

After rehearsals and pre recording i went back home since i will be performing in the afternoon, after shower we went to salon and get my hair styled and we went back to KBS at 11am. After posing for
media i went inside to my waiting room and get my make up done.

After changing i waited for my song to be released at 1pm, my palms were sweating nonstop at 12:30pm and i kept going to the bathroom to pee. I went live on instagram and it was lively, everyone was asking about my song and that they were happy.

I went offline 5 minutes prior and went to the bathroom again, when i came back it was time and everyone kept refreshing their phones. The moment it was released it climbed to no.1 in a matter of two seconds and i was shocked, after it’s premere it gathered 6million views on youtube and my subscribers rose to
12million.

I didn’t even know i was crying until my manager gave me a tissue and patted my head congratulating me, after having a nice fat meal we went on stage and perform. After peforming i went back to the waiting room and i left after the winner was anounced, we went back to YG for my debut party.

I went home after and tomorrow i will be going to JTBC Knowing Bros with Bobby.
We used my car and went to JTBC together and there were lot of reporters outside, after waving we went inside.

Bobby oppa and i have same wavelength energy and it can become chaotic if we are together which is why Mr Yang sent me with him, while shooting Bobby happened to be asked if he have any complaints to Mr Yang and this dish mouth couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

“Well if i have a complaint it should be only one that all YG artists have and i’m sure if you ask them they will agree with me”, he said laughing

“What is it?”, Heechul oppa asked and the studio went quiet

“Mr Yang spoiled her alot”, he said pointing me and everyone laughed

“If you ask everyone under YG they will tell you that she is the most spoiled artist under YG”

“How does he spoil her”, Hodong sunbae asked and i laughed since everyone had their ears pecked

“She is the first person to be given freedom to do whatever they want with their debut, she decided everything from concept to producers and no one get that privilege even us we hardly get that chance even though we have debuted for years except BigBang sunbaenim. Last time a day before her debut all the artists from seniors to trainees were called to monitor her training and intead of him to be tough with her he was busy asking her if they should adjust anything but she kept talking about food and he didn’t even get angry, i was so angry since he kept saying we were just being too serious when we complain”, everyone laughed

“Is it only him, who spoiled her?”, Hodong sunbae asked

“You know she is the smartest person in that area, you will never see her with people yonger than her or of her age because she knows that she will have to take care of them. She is known as unnies stealer or YG fake maknae, they just can’t resist her cuteness. It started with Mr Yang and the virus spread to other senior artists and staff, even cleaners know her. She is a completetly a different person off the cameras, so my complaint is that we also like to be spoiled”, everyone laughed

“Chaeyeon do you agree with the accusations?”, Heechul oppa asked

“Yes, i’m guilty on that one”, everyone in the studio laughed

After recording the staff bought chicken and my happiness went to another level, since i was the youngest everyone was taking care of me and it just felt right. I promoted for three weeks and won 5
trophies, my album sales have already passed 450k and i am proud of myself and everyone involved in this album.

Fans couldn’t stop praising it’s quality, i have been resting well since i’m on break and Shuxin have been bothering nonstop to bring Yena over. Yena told me that next week she is free so we agreed to go next week on Tuesday and come back on Saturday, she came over on monday and we left on Tuesday morning.

When we arrived at Incheon we posed for media and went in to board our flight, we went to Beijing since Shuxin was there. The lady of the house was waiting for us at airport and drove us home, suprisingly there was turn of events and all attention was on Yena.

I introduced her to the girls as my twin sister since we all tend to get jelous when one of us make new friends and she was recieved well, sadly i didn’t get to take her to Hong Kong and show her my place since time was not on our side.

We went back to Korea on Saturday and our managers were waiting for us at the airport and we went different ways, the moment i buckled my seat belt my manager started to gossip

“Chaeyeon-nah, would you like to hear romours that have been released by Dispatch while you were in China?”, he asked as if he didn’t want to tell

“I know you want to tell, why are you pretending to care for my opinion”, i said laughing and he laughed

“Apparently according to Dispatch you and Gdragon are dating”, i didn’t know about it since i no longer follow Korean media i learnt my lesson last time, they are too inhumane

“What about according to you?”, i asked him laughing

“Me? i know nothing”, we looked at each other on the rare mirror and burst into laughters

“It took them long to find out”, i said opening a bottle of juice and drink

“They wouldn’t have, apparently it was leaked by one of our own at YG”, we all went silent for a moment and looked at each other on the rare mirror again and our eyes went wide at the same time
