Chapter 56|Milking

Chaeyeon's pov....

Since i couln't attend any awards both China and Korea, i could only send my thanks through short video messages. This year i was able to celebrate my birthday with my fans since i was on my tour in
Philippines, i was happy since my family also came over so it was the best.

YG Family tour ended successfuly in Vietnam and though my schedule was still filled with my tour, acting and shoots at least YG tour was over since it was the most straining activity on my side and they surely made lot of money out of it.

Is YG milking me because my contract is ending next year in November? now that i think about it it make sense because my schedule is full until next year June, i have been going in and out of Korea non stop. I finished my tour in June but i was also preparing for a comeback in September, well enough about YG milking me business is business after all.

I got up and went to YG to record my mini album, since i couldn't find time to eat i thought i would eat after visiting the doctor in the afternoon since my throat have been acting up after tour, but i haven't gotten chance to check it out since my schedule is busy.

When i arrived i greeted everyone taking off my scarf and i listened to the demos before going in and start recording.
I finished recording all 4 songs at 8pm in the evening and asked my manager to drive me to my appointment.

After all the tests and check up the doctor told me there was a swelling around my vocal chords so even though it's not servere it can be dangerous if neglected so i must rest for a while. After getting
all the reports i went home and made copies.

After giving my manager another copy to send it to YG i ordered full herbal chicken with a herbal soup and wait watching a drama, when my chicken arrived i made myself some ramen and indulge myself
while it's still hot. No matter how busy one is they must always spare time for a delicious meal, that's one of the principles i live by.

Since tomorrow it's weekend and i'm free we decided to meet up, me and the girls. After eating i went to my room to rest since i'm tired, the dreams where nice and spring bloomed but since i couldn't see the face i don't want to make any assumptions just because i recognized the voice but whatever it was it felt real and good.

Somehow my mood was good when i woke up in the morning and it was already 10am, i hummed walking to the kitchen to make breakfast. My manager arrived just after i finished cooking and we ate while he tell me the results about this morning's meeting.

"How did it go?", i asked and he shook his head disappointed

"What did they say?", i knew it won't be easy

"They said since so many resources have been invested on you nothing can be done, unless your voice is completely affected or your condition worsen then they will see what they can do, but other than that your schedule will continue as normal", he frowned after explaining and continue eating

"What did Mr Yang say?", i asked putting butter on my toast

"He will book an appointment to see if anything can be done with your throat", he said stuffing boiled eggs in his mouth, for goodness sake this dude can eat and if he keep eating here i will run out of food
soon

"I see", i said smiling and continue drinking my coffee

"You that smile, first time i saw it was when Jennie provoked you what are you up to?", this dude is really noisy

"Me? Nothing, i just woke up in good since I'm meeting the girls in the afternoon", it seems like too many people are after me this time so i might have to thread carefully this remaining time i have

"oh, do you want me to take you there?"

"Nah, Yena will come and pick me up later"

"oh"

After my manager left i layed on the couch arranging my thoughts, time really goes on fast. when i checked time it was already 12:30pm, i got up and went to take shower. After shower i put on my washed out denim shorts with an oversize white button shirt with white sneakers and let my hair down, Yena arrived around 1pm and we left. When we arrived everyone was waiting for us.

"is lateness in Choi's genes?", Yuri asked and they laughed

"hey don't underestimate us, we can also kick some butts", i said going to hug them

"tell them", Yena said walking to Yuri's side

"Can we order already, i'm hungry", Hyewon said pouting

"Unnie why are you always sulking whenever there is food around?", Yujin said hiding behind Eunbi

"Why don't you come out and say it in her face?", Wonyoung said laughing

"You guys are still the same", Minju said shaking her head

"I'm on diet since my comeback is close", Chaewon said pouting

"When is it?", i asked checking the menu

"September"

"Hey we will be promoting together, my comeback is also scheduled in September", Yena said and i was surprised

"What is this? i'm also having a comeback in September", i said and we were all surprised

"Wah, this is crazy", Eunbi said we all agreed

We ordered and ate catching up, we even called Skura, Nako and Hitomi. Every moment we spend together is precious since it's hard to find an exact time where we are all free. Except for Yujin and Wonyoung the rest of us are solo with me, Minju and Hyewon acting too.

We all called it off at 5pm and Yena drove me home, i just went to my room to sleep since i was feeling tired.
