Chapter 51|Showcase

Chaeyeon's pov.....

I had to sit down and digest everything before calling my manager to confirm if it was true and he agreed and also sent me my schedule that have been planned by Shining Star and it is starting tomorrow with Keep Running so from now on i will be relying on my Chinese staff.

My manager came to pick me up in the morning and went to shoot, the shoot ended in the evening and i went to S.Star to discuss the plan of my debut showcase on Saturday. I went back to my place at 9pm and just fell asleep since tomorrow i have shoot with Elle magazine for Fendi.

When i woke up my body was sore and i was tired. My manager came to pick me around 7am to the shoot, i finished in the evening at went home to rest. They gave me a day off on Wednesday and i took it to go to my pilates class, after class i treated myself with a fat meal.

On thursday afternoon my manager told me we are going to shoot a reality show called Play! Mini Fridge and i honestly have never heard about it, when we arrived at the studio guess who welcomed me outside? yes, Jackson Wang

“Tong tong!”, he called coming to give me a hug

“Oppa you are here?”, I asked shocked and everyone outside laughed

“Mmh, wait a moment”, he said running to his car

“I need an autograph for this and a selfie”, he said giving me my album to sign

“Oppa you bought this one too?”, i asked taking it to sign it

“Told you i am a fan and on saturday i’m coming to your showcase”, we took a selfie together and he changed it to his wallpaper infront of me

“Oppa!! change it”, i said pouting

“No, i’m not changing it until i get another satisfactory wallpaper of yours”, he responded in Korean

“Oppa!!”, i said trying to grab his phone but he ran away

“You know you will have to start calling me by my name when we start shooting right? there is no oppa and unnie here”

“I totaly forgot, thanks for heads up”

We went inside and i greeted everyone and it turned out i'm the only female cast, the shoot ended at 8pm and i was feeling sleepy so my manager drove me home straight. When i arrived home i made
myself toast with eggs and coffee and slept after eating, tomorrow it’s rehearsals for the showcase.

When i woke up in the morning i ordered a fat meal since i know i might not get chance to eat. Just as i finished showering my food arrived, after eating i changed to my black sweatpants with a black
long sleeves crop top and black sneakers.

I decided to let my hair down but i took my hair band for just in case, my manager came to pick me up at 9am and when we arrived at the venue everything was almost done. The reheasals went on until 9pm and we took break since everyone was tired, i’m used to this after promoting with iz*one so it didn’t bother me too much.

When we were eating the director was also showing me where all the cameras and confetties and fire will be, the rehearsals went on until 6am on saturday. We are not expecting many people since the show will also be broadcasted live on Weibo and my youtube channel, the cameras were busy recording behind the scenses for youtube updates and i fell asleep backstage while talking to the camera and i don’t remember what happened after.

The staff woke me up at 11am i did final walk over, since everything was already done when i woke up we finish checking everything at 12pm. Since the show is starting at 5pm I went home to take a shower and i went to salon to get my hair done, we went back to the venue at 2pm and my manager ordered food for me while i was getting my make up done.

I finished getting ready at 4 and ate while waiting for the show to start, i brushed my teeth after eating and stretch a little bit. I went on stage at 5 o’clock and there were lot of people but my nerves went away, i was shocked by the amount of lightsticks.

“Hello everyone!!”, they all screamed waving their lightsticks

“Wow, why does it look like everyone here have a lightstick?”

“Yes!!”, they responded waving them

“They look beautiful from here, can we show them on screen?”, i asked one of the camera that was pointing at me and it rotated to the crowd and they appeared on the screen and they went wild

The show kicked off with the Chinese version of my debut album, i took break mid show to engage with the fans and suddenly the venue went dark and the main screen turn white with me appearing on the side screens only

“What is this?”, i asked the camera man who was filming me

“A suprise”

“A suprise...”, suddenly the screen changed

“Chaeyeon-nah annyeong, i know we have not seen each other since our disbandment and you only attended the reunion online due to busy schedule making it two years apart from each other. You have grown up know and look healthy, please stay healthy so that your unnie can rest with ease. congratulations on your success, love you”, Eunbi unnie appeared on screen

“You always push yourself hard even when you are having hard time and you still take care of everyone around you, take care of yourself and congratulations on your debut”, Sakura also appeared

“My food friend, congratulationon your successful debut. Eat well and make me proud”, Hyewon unnie said waving a drumstick and the crowd laughed

“Yah chaeyeon-nah, though we saw each other in april i missed you the most. lets get together when you are free, oh and cograts on your successful debut”, Yena said saluting

“Unnie congratulations fighting”, Chaewon said laughing

“Unnie congratulation, Minju will always be your no.1 fan”

“Unnie fighting, continue to succed , much love from Nako”

“Unnie, i missed you alot. let’s get together soon ok?unnie continue to shine”, Tomi said with teary eyes an i just couldn’t stop myself from crying

“Yah! chaeyeon-nah it’s been two years since we last saw each other, didn’t you miss me? i still have two albums waitng for an autogragh, congratulation on your successful 5th debut”, Yuri said wiping away her tears

“Unnie!! you miss me the most right? unnie congratulations on all your debuts, lets have a meal together when you are free just like old times. Yujin loves you the most, bye”

“Unnie, it’s your baby Wonyoung. We’ve been roommates for 2.6 years and separate for another two years, unnie wonyoung missed you. Congratulations on your debuts, continue to succed so that i can brag with pride that my unnie is the best. unnie fighting”

“Ahh, what is this? i have not seen them since our disbadment except Yena and since i missed our reunion i couldn’t stop blaming myself”, i said wiping my tears

“Ncooh!!”, the crowd responded

“and now seeing this it bring back some memories......”, suddenly the girls appered on the screen waving their ligtsticks

“They are here?”, i asked the cameraman and he nodded

“No way”, i said looking for them and they were below the stage on front row

The moment i spotted them i left the stage running we met half way and have a group hug but sadly i had to go back on stage and finish the showcase, i met everyone backstage and went out for dinner together since they are all leaving tomorrow morning.

I finished all my promotions by the end of November selling over 1.3million copies, my manager told me i will be going back to Korea next week for YG Family tour in February.
