Never did I imagine that we would ride a private jet on our way to Camiguin. And Azure Lorenzo as the pilot was giving me an anxiety whether we would land smoothly or we'd flipped around.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked Marcus while the aircraft was preparing to take-off.

"Relax, Olaia. He's a licensed pilot. He's been doing this for years!" he answered confidently.

Tumango ako at ininom 'yung hinandang champagne ng cabin crew. Marcus laughed sexily, shaking his head as he grabbed my flute and drank the remaining champagne. I sighed and just looked at the window as we ascended to the sky.

In less than an hour, we landed at the airport in Camiguin.

An SUV was waiting for us outside the airport and dropped us at the resort located in the main town of Mambajao. It was currently one of the only five-star resorts featuring a restaurant, mountain and ocean vies, and private pools; the staff said.

Looking up, I read the sign. "Bintana Sa Paraiso..."

"We'll stay here for 3 days, Olaia. Kuya Azure picked this resort. Did you like it?" marahan niyang sinabi habang nakayakap sa likuran ko.

"Kuya Azure na ngayon?" Ngumisi ako sabay lingon sa kanya. "But you know, 'like' is an understatement. I already love this place!"

"Good," he kissed my cheek. "'Cause I only wanted to give you the best."

I smiled and blushed secretly.

"Got the keys. Let's unpack first and then we'll go out to eat," he said and smirked at Marcus like some sort of a secret code.

It was modern and spacious—enough for a big group or family. And when I opened the windows, my gaze got stuck on the most incredible views of Camiguin Island and its coastlines.

"I studied our itinerary. After lunch, we'll explore the White Island. Hindi pa naman high tide, but we won't stay long; probably just for a quick dip in the ocean as we're also gonna visit a lot of tourist spots in the afternoon," paliwanag ni Marcus habang isinasalansan ang mga damit namin sa ibabaw ng kama.

Marcus and Azure were in their casual outfits. On the other hand, I wore a simple white flow-y above-the-knee dress and sandals.

The resort manager suggested that it would be so much easier for us to get around the island by riding a scooter, so we decided to rent two. Azure had already started the engine of his scooter, while Marcus was lowkey trying to study how the hell would that work.
