The next morning when Gwen woke up, her phone was exploding with notifications.
She opened TikTok, to find she'd been tagged in a video.
It was at the game, filmed from somewhere under the bleachers. Whoever recorded it was pretty far away, and there were two people the camera had zoomed in on. You could see a girl in a cheer uniform, and after the camera focused you could clearly see Gwen's face. The other person was facing away from the camera, but there was one important detail that made his identity obvious: Shoto's iconic duel-colored hair. The sound of the roaring crowd and the marching band made it hard to hear what the people were saying, but the person who posted it had taken the time to caption their conversation.
"I'm breaking up with you."
"Wait what?!"
Her heart dropped.
They had filmed it.
The comments were filled with people losing their minds.
'Can you believe it? They lost the game and their scholarships because of this bitch!'
She deleted her social media accounts after a few hours, going completely off the grid.
