Chapter 39

-The night after graduation-

Kat entered Ravyn's room. "Hey ray, you about ready to go?"

Ravyn was curled up on her bed and shook her head. "I'm not feeling up to it tonight, Kat..."

"Are you okay?" He asked, worry lacing his voice as he made his way to her bedside.

"I'm fine just not feeling well enough to get my ass drunk." She forced a quiet laugh.

He placed his hand on her forehead. "You don't have a fever... are you sure you don't wanna go? It's the biggest graduation party that's thrown, even Gwen is going without being dragged there by someone else."

"I know, and if I could I would go." She batted his hand away.

"Okay then..." he mumbled, giving her a quick kiss on the forehead. "Take care of yourself."

She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly, "Go have fun for me."

"I will. I love you."

"I love you too." She smiled at him.

He gave her a smile before leaving to head to the party.

"AND BRING ME BACK PUDDING!" She called after him.

"I will!" He shouted back at her room.
