One moment Felix was dancing and, the next, an unexpected cramp was shooting through his abdomen and made him miss his step. He ended up colliding with Jeongin and, while the young alpha was strong and steady enough to keep his balance, Felix was much lighter and already losing his balance, so he ended up crashing on the floor. Pain flared in his wrist as he landed wrongly while trying to catch his fall, and another unexpected cramp made him curl up on himself, a faint whimper escaping him.

Almost instantly, warm hands were pulling him up and the familiar, comforting scent of his alpha mate filled his senses, effectively soothing him. Another cramp made him tense up, and Chan carefully laid him down on the couch the managers had quickly vacated. Felix could hear his members talking animatedly in the background – shit, we're live, everyone saw this – but he was in too much pain to really make sense of anything.

"It's okay, baby, it's okay," murmured Chan, petting his head. "Don't worry about anything, just tell hyung what's wrong, hm? Where does it hurt?"

"My- my stomach—cramps... And- and my wrist..."

"Alright, I've got you. Just close your eyes and try to relax, hyung will take care of everything. Don't worry, everything's going to be fine."

Chan's constant, soft reassurances, in addition to his gentle touches and his thick, almost dizzying pine scent filled with soothing pheromones were quick to plunge Felix into a half-conscious daze, the pain fading in the background as he slipped into a more vulnerable headspace – a side-effect that couldn't be helped when an omega got high on their alpha pheromones, it was a natural reaction to such an intense feeling of safety.

"It's all good, little one. Everything will be alright."

If Chan said so, then it must be true – it was with that reassuring thought in mind that Felix let himself drift off, too exhausted to fight it any longer.

As it turned out, Felix had had a small reaction to the new heat suppressant he'd started taking. Cramps were amongst some of the listed side-effects but, since he'd been on them for a few weeks without issue now, Felix had completely forgotten about it. The doctor they'd seen had assured him that everything was fine and that his body was just finishing adjusting to the new medicine, and that he shouldn't have any more issues.

He'd sprained his wrist when falling but, thankfully, nothing two weeks of rest couldn't heal. With a tape now snuggly wrapped around it to prevent further strain, he was finally free to leave. So, it was relieved and no longer in pain that Felix returned home the same day. But, with the issue of his health now resolved, he had another to deal with.

Like the fact that he'd just had a cramp fit live, in addition to injuring himself.

There was no taking it back, nor was there anything to be done about it, really. The incident had already trended all over Twitter, and he didn't even want to think of what some of the meaner people out there might be saying about him. So, he didn't even bother asking – the moment he got home, he handed Chan his phone and asked him to keep it until his wrist was fully healed.

(Felix knew that he'd eventually cave in and check the comments, so he'd rather remove any sort of temptation, and his alpha was all too happy to oblige.)
